- Exeter Quay in Exeter, Devon, is the destination for this week’s pleasant riverside stroll from Exeter St David’s Railway station.
Exeter Quay is a lively area and ideal for water sports, cycle hire, dining, people watching and enjoying street entertainment. There are lots of delightful swans and ducks to keep you company on the short (couple of miles) walk to the quay from Exeter St David’s railway station. The riverside path is ideal for cycling, walking and running. There is much more to discover along the river, but the weather turned on me the day I filmed this so I will go back another time to discover and show you more.

Great little wander around Exeter there Louise. I wasn't aware of this walk direct from Exeter St. David's direct to the Quayside and avoiding the busy City Centre - great tip. Exeter Quayside is lovely and full of charm. Another cracking video! Cheers, Paul 👍🙂

Thanks Louise. I don't know Exeter so that was new to me and I always love quiet river walks (avoiding traffic). Very relaxing. Yummy cake and refreshing cup of tea in such a great spot :)
Thank you Cathy! I only recently found it too! Spotted it out of the train window once and decided to explore. Yes, I love quiet river walks too 🤗 The tea was nice and refreshing and the cake was delicious and fuelled the little walk back to the station😀
