Rob... As I try to learn VMware this is one of the best EVER videos I have seen. Is there a complementary video that goes with this?

Terry Bailey, thanks! I appreciate that! I have produced other VMware videos on the channel, not sure what you are looking for.

@@RobRikerTechChannel Thanks again for video and what I was wondering was in the last 45 seconds of this one you say you going to do a video for breaking down a new vswitch and differences internal vrs ??. Also talked about a follow on video of how to bring in network storage. Again you did such a great job on this one I wanted to see other that might complement it.

i appreciate the time but he talks a lot about physical devices, the topic of this video should be different

Ok, maybe more on VMware networking, sure, but my goal was how to tie the physical and the virtual together. Noted the feedback for improvement.

just an advice, when your video title says vSphere networking don't go into details about physical switching and data center technology such as CNA adapters, FEX module and Nexus switching, that's a different topic. and by the way, HBAs are generally considered storage adapters, so they have nothing to do with networking unless you are using them for iSCSI storage.
Also the term SAN refers to iSCSI, FCoE and FC storage, so from a networking perspective you need to be talking about NFS although iSCSI do use network switch.
just few tips to keep your videos focused.

What a messy unstructured explanation! Terrible... 30 min wasted...
