@@estelle4778 They could have literally got rid of the CIA aspect and just make Idris Elba a guy with a grudge against the RAPID impostors. The CIA element contributed nothing to the plot other than an excuze for Idris to arrest ONE guy (couldn't the French intelligence have done that?????). Or make Idris an honest cop who was ordered by French minister guy to get them all as part of a plot to get rid of loose ends and frame it all on him. I'm guessing they just needed a way to make it make sense Idris Elba was in the film.
A million ways to make this work.
