I would have liked you try still in the end. If you remove the pawns from the f file, Rf1 is mate and what a beautiful mate. Every single unmoveable piece of yours is involved.
Chess, but your pieces/pawns lack confidence. You can move one of them only if it starts adjacent (orthogonally or diagonally) to another of your pieces/pawns
The amount of people in the comments who seemingly added in another line to the rules about being able to recall pieces to re-launch them is concerning lol.
Reposition on your home rank before firing = move it to a different position on the home rank as long as it hasn't been fired. It does not mean he can reload them.
@@Knoten385 Judging by other comment multiple people seem to have misread it as allowing reloads by returning to the base line. I assume tomasocarbone thought the same.
Honestly, I'd love the eval bar to just be there from now on. I feel like it can make for great bits of passive comedy every time there's a enemy blunder, or a misplay forced by the challenged.
planning to move the rook at 3:34 is shocking. You could take the pawn with your knight as soon as the queen takes your bishop and attack the queen with check
I immediately clocked that. At first when he mentioned taking the bishop I was like “Oh smart, then you can royal fork!” and then he said the most deranged plan that’s worse than taking the fork and probably lost him the game because he could’ve kept his queen active.
3:42 he doesn’t take my bishop and instead uses another pawn to attack another bishop that was already being attacked by a pawn from the very beginning of the game 💀💀
It was pretty unwinnable at that point. He needed to treat his knights like the King. Losing them lost the game. The King too could have become more active. It was a good chance for the bong cloud maybe.
@@LeonSoEpic Simp didn't consider moving the queen and rooks back to their home rank to "reload" them. It was the whole point of the challange. Otherwise they would just say "you can only move queen rooks and bishops once"
Your king was actually also extempt from the rules. You could've used your king to capture as many pieces and pawns as you could, then promote your own pawns.
For how long has the left side effects the video had the text changed into "Subscribe or you can never en passant anymore"? Is it different every video? Is it the first time? I NEED ANSWERS!!!!
I’m really confused. Shouldn’t keeping the knights alive be a super high priority? And the bishop moves should definitely be for capturing, not positioning?
100 rated chess, but you're secretly in love with your opponent queen and therefore you cannot take her with a piece or a pawn. In case you take it with your King, you would have to let your opponent promote a Queen, to fall in love again.
4:20 You missed rook takes knight on e7,ibishop tskes back is forced and you can freely reposition the a1 rook imto e1 before firing it.And you twke the bishop with the other rook checkmate in 2.
@@yashaakimov5378 "You can only fire them once. You may reposition the queen and rooks on your home rank before firing them." You can only reposition *before* firing.
I enjoyed having the eval bar. Watching it plummet when you're forced to make bad moves is peak comedy
Yeah the eval bar is a great addition. It's fun to watch and should be in every video.
+1
Equally funny is watching it skyrocket due to the opponent blundering the woman for the 200th year in a row.
The tension between that bishop and queen was so thick and long, my gf left me for it
His faith demanded he not take another man's woman.
Her societal status demanded she be faithful to her husband.
And yet the tension remained.
AYO
Maidenless once again 😢
When you see mate in 1 which ends the video, look for another mate in 1, which still ends the video
It is fun to see stockfish getting tortured by the successive queen blunders
100 ELO chess, but it’s a limited war budget.
He needed to keep his knights alive.
It's been a minute since we had a "fuck the rules" moment.
Whenever the opponent hangs a mate in one for like 5 moves in a row, there's a good chance Simp will say "fuck the rules".
2:41
Surprised you sacrificed the knight, a piece unaffected by the challenge, for just a bishop and a castle
Shame, It would have been cool to see where that went. Not that I can blame you for giving into the temptation
9. Ne5 sacrifice the knight, pawn takes dxe5 and then interballisitic missile checkmate in one 10. Qxd8#
I would have liked you try still in the end. If you remove the pawns from the f file, Rf1 is mate and what a beautiful mate. Every single unmoveable piece of yours is involved.

Ending move looks like it was Checkmate.
The amount of people in the comments who seemingly added in another line to the rules about being able to recall pieces to re-launch them is concerning lol.
That was in the challenge?
This exact challenge would be better if the pieces are still allowed to return to their original square for a 'missile reload' though...
first I thought that would be included and was mad he's just giving up his bishops haha
This was the most 100 rated player Simp has had in a while
Hilarious!
You forgot you can reload the queen
Reposition on your home rank before firing = move it to a different position on the home rank as long as it hasn't been fired. It does not mean he can reload them.
B
why did simp ignore the second part of the challenge complitely?
Only 100 ELO would undevelop pieces
Jk, im curious myself
wdym he literally did reposition both his rooks and the queen was already in the center so no need?
@@Knoten385 Judging by other comment multiple people seem to have misread it as allowing reloads by returning to the base line. I assume tomasocarbone thought the same.
why not just follow the rules and bring your pieces back to their original squares and use them again? that's the whole point of the challenge.
He followed the rules exactly. Reposition != reload. Challenge writer clarified you can only fire once.
9. Ne5(??) could have been a pretty genius play if it worked. If he tunnel visions and captures it, you have Qxd8#
intercontinental ballistic missile goes brrr
That was the first thing I thought when I read the challenge lmao
The next move is obvious
Honestly, I'd love the eval bar to just be there from now on. I feel like it can make for great bits of passive comedy every time there's a enemy blunder, or a misplay forced by the challenged.
hear hear
thirded
I can't blame you. Some of these games feel like they're deliberately channeling your personal hell
I can. Simp is coward
he throws these challenges on purpose, there was no reason to lose all his pieces that early considering he's actually good at chess
planning to move the rook at 3:34 is shocking. You could take the pawn with your knight as soon as the queen takes your bishop and attack the queen with check

It would also have kept his knight alive, which he needed because of the challenge.
Well, the queen didn't take the bishop in the end anyways. But he really should have kept his knight, he got impatient there ig.
@@onebear6504 The queen would’ve been useful to keep active which it would’ve been if he had taken the royal fork. But the knight was more important
Hahahaha that eval bar was losing its mind
"Just. Take. THE QUEEN."
"Fuck it" is one of my favorite types of ending.
let's celebrate it
When Simp himself is the WTF
I liked the good old days when simp would say fuck the rules
Trading off both knights when they're your most powerful pieces with these rules seems like a bad plan...
Should've been allowed to bring a Fired Piece back to the home rank to reload.
I’m pretty sure that was what they meant in the first place
@@cindyzhaoyingzi8719no, I think by "repositioning on home rank" they meant aiming the missiles

Long time no see, the "f*ck the rules" endgame strategy

If the channel only applied to Rooks and the Queen, it would've been the perfect opportunity for an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Gambit
Getting to ICBM position against a 100 elo should be as difficult as winning while being down all the major pieces for the entirety of the game.
ICBM be like
That was the most 100 game I've ever seen...
Rc1 Rc8 probably would have been checkmate. There's a good chance 111 doesn't move the knight. Wait. The bishop blocking can't be moved. 😬
That's satisfying release in the end. Haven't seen that in a very long while.
It's been a while since u fucked the challenge rule to deliver M1, it's satisfying af
I’m so disappointed! I think that was gonna be a really interesting endgame!
When simp is calculating at 3:35 isn't knight takes pawn D6 a Royal fork after queen takes bishop?
I'd be interested in seeing this challenge again but followed through to the end
Yeah I definitely think you could get some other interesting outcomes with this rule.
Through the end? He already moved all of them except for the blocked rook

Queen had a secondary booster lol
This is the last time we simp Sundays
Simp: "who plays like this anyways, right?"
Me: "well, 100 rated players do"
Opponent: does exactly that, blundering his queen^^
even the eval bar was a missile 💀

Honestly I thought you might try 9. Nd5 because if dxd5 then Qxd8 mate. Obviously not a great move in a vacuum, but you know, 100-rated player.
I consider that a win because theoretically you just used the rook below the queen as a booster to thrust the queen's corpse up there. This is fine

I thought the challenge meant your Rooks and Queen could be fired again after resetting on your home rank? Or did I misunderstand the challenge?
Stockfish having a seizure
2:20 I like Ne4 here. Opponent is likely to take with dxe4 leaving an open file to checkmate with queen.
Could have probably brought the king out and easily won but I can see why you didn't as that would have been boring.
Simp, I know you're trying new things to better engage your audience and so on. But please dont use the eval bar! I hate it
For the first time ever, I wish you had ended the video earlier. That repetitive queen blunder was infuriating 😂
Y u give up? Just put tower back in the ranks, Discover Check, then draw some arrows on the screen n check mate
Missiles are fired at targets, and missiles here were fired at noman's land. I'd say retry, but the missiles have to kiiilllll
Didn't Simp used to have the eval bar on like way back? Or am I trippin?
You still have your king to come forward or help pawns promote. What a cowar-
internally adding the sound effects of a groan tube to the engine evaluation doing that
I wouldn't have minded if you were allowed to use your 2nd rank to maneuver as well
Only a coward would be too afraid of losing the challenge to win the game.
100 rated chess, but fuck it.
Ahh the good old intro
Subscribe or you can never en passant anymore.
There was still a chance with f4 g5 Rf1
I get the "f- it' but the position when he did it at 5:00 had more prospect than at 4:44 with the pretty mate in one. Might as well ended there.
Ne5 at 2:40 would have been loads of fun.
3:29 You missed a royal fork
eval bar is doing push ups
3:27 that's a fork, not a sacrifice
Why not use the King to checkmate?
Let's just say that was a two stage warhead.
This video is pure gold
But you had Rh7+ Ke8 Re1#
Use your king.
Shit happens
???
Am I dumb of did he not play this like the challenge said at all?
Were you among the people that misinterpreted the challenge to mean that he can reload by returning to home, or what do you mean?
@user-zj9rr6yc4u oh I just miss read it. Yeah that was what I thought
I don't mind "fuck the rules" endings but I thought that looked possibly winnable against an 100 so I kinda hoped Simp would play to the end
You quit right when it was getting interesting.
Cluster warhead missile
Nice
Simp simply forgot that he could recharge his queen and rooks
I hate, absolutly despise En Passant, so i am partially happy that it pronounced in such an annoying way! But i still hate En Passant!
Towards the end he could of done a three move rook lift (using the left rook) to deliver checkmate using all of his pieces.
Noooooo took back to home base, discovered check!
