7 month old rtr200 4V. 11.4k kms done. Running on motul 7100 10W-50. It's the best for this bike.
Used to run 7100 10W-40 for my rtr180 for 6 years, no issues.
Previous oils i used motul 300v & liqui moly 10w40
after i decided to switch to motul 10w50 this one is Best Engine oil 👌 right now i am using it in my RTR 180 Beast 🔥🔥
Brother for the ecu part of the same bike, is it ok to go for the after market service. Are they able solve the issue related to ecu ?
The engine capacity is 1.2L right, so should be buy 2 engine oils at a time to fill once?
Just a month ago i purchased apache 160 2v ...i dont know the brand name of engine oil which was already inside..but as i changed engine oil and put tvs synthetic oil ..in it..engine has started to make diffrent sound ..service center informed that bike need tappet setting ..i also done the settting .but i m not satisfied..kindly suggest me solution

For non liquid bike only use 10w30 10w40 but 10,20w50 will not pump to engine head for more viscous so only company suggest 10w30

What I feel is spending a little extra you can get Motul 300v. But 7100 is also good. 7100 is best for winters. But if you are using 300v make sure to get the best out of it. Otherwise it is a waste of money

I suggest 10w40. 10w50 is a bit too much for the RTR from my experience in my friends' RTR200s (both BS3, BS6).
Also yes front sprocket cleaning is important. On my previous bikes not cleaning that part led to the front sprocket wearing more quickly.

Try changing the brake fluid, change to aftermarket brake pads and you can also go for steel braided line. Don’t change the calliper

I have used 10w40 but its 1L but my 2004v has a capacity of 1.2L , does it create a problem in engine at later period for using less oil

You can go for Castrol/motul/shell 10W40
I am personally use motul 7100 10w40 my bike complete 34000km n one thing I observe while switch from legandry 😂tvs oil my bike cursing speed is increased first I feel Engine is stress bit on speed of 80 to 90 KMPH speed but after motul 7100 it is increased to 95 to 110 KMPH very easily n Engine vibration also reduse biggest trust is gain by motul when I do Vadodara to Manali - jespa - rotang passy bike run almost 4 to 5k km in just 12 days n when I came home n Chang oil n what is see is totally shocking for me I see oil is still like new ( I shock because I ride my bike in -10c in jespa and 45 c temp in noon in Jaipur n Udaipur n I almost ride at 80 to 100 kmph) colour of oil as it is as I pure it new one thing I suggest you add liqui molly mos2 shooter u feel better results whit motul it's protect engine on High Speed n also reduse vibration a lot n also increase milage I personally use in every oil change n believe me it worth every penny ..

Apache has lower Compression ratio than bikes like KTM, attain its rated bhp at lower engine speeds. So if oil gets degraded at intervals shorter than OEM estimates, how does KTM compare ? Will Ronin have longer change over intervals because of a more relaxed nature of engine ? Ironically TVS have a multi brand service centre for cars in Wagholi, Pune 😎
The bikes with air cooling, and specially air and oil cooling , their engine oils are under more thermal changes. Liquid cooled bikes heat up but the temperature of the engine is well controlled. That might be the reason

The noise is common in apaches . Change the engine oil for a thicker grade

Hi bro. What is the idling rpm of your bike? I also own a apache 200 4v and recently I changed to motul 7100 10w50. I noticed that when I cold start my bike the rpm goes to 2300 then it comes to 1900-2000. Is this normal?
Yes during cold starts, bike idles higher. Anywhere around 2000 is normal
@@kmperhrvlogs But even after engine gets warm it stays around 2000 RPM. Will it affect engine performance and it's life? Btw your videos are so informative and after watching you upgrade to 10w50 I did the same.
@@mayurbhoyar2616 same bro I am using 10w40 motul Rpm increase because thermal sensor detect that oil is not hot enough as we use 10 w40 and 50 which doesn't warmup easily in rtr engine that's why ecu increase the rpm to set the engine oil temperature

Pretty much perfect.
10w50 is a little too heavy. Have tried on BS3 and BS6 RTR200s.
The BS3 carb model also became hard to start with 10w50.

No do not use the oil . Go for either 10W30 or 10W40

Mistakenly used 20W 50 and I used bike for around 300KM with tht, is it advisable to change it immediately or can I use to for around 1k to 1.5K km
