    10:14 “the coral snake is poisonous, if it bites you, you die” I heard that, and was like, I’m sorry what 😂

      I laughed so hard at that. He actually said it is the only poisonous snake in Florida. There are more than 1 venomous snake indigenous to Florida. He obviously doesn’t have a clue😂🤣

    When stuff was 80 bucks a less than 10 years ago and is now 500 bucks. That's a HUGE red flag. It means they aren't thriving in captivity for a number of reasons. It could be they are near impossible to captive breed etc

    I've always wondered do they ever have venomous snakes at the reptile shows? I'm assuming they don't but just curious. Great video! I'm also from Florida and thinking about going to Repticon in Tampa in March, it'll be my first ever reptile show!

    • @floridacracker_

      They usually dont in Florida!

    • @Little_Duck_Duck
      @Little_Duck_Duck 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes. It depends on the show, but I know Texas has a hot (venomous) reptile show.
      You should definitely go! I went to the same one last year. I recommend watching Snake Discovery's snake genetic video so you'll understand the terminology if you don't already know.

    And what was that stuff about coral snakes being poisonous not venomous?? I'm confused on that one. Can't be right. How does that work

    • @HeavenlyiceDream
      @HeavenlyiceDream 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The delivery of that toxin is what makes the difference.
      Poison is passive: You have to bite or touch the animal for that animal to deliver its toxin. Venom is active:
      The creature has to bite you (or sting or poke you) for the toxin to get into your body.
      Kevin from N.E.R.D. says " if it bites you and you die, it's venomous. if YOU bite it and die, it's poison. don't bite snakes and don't let them bite you.

    • @lipripper187
