The milwaukee ones suck and i havent even tried them. I hope these are better. Even the dewalt true wireless earbuds suck because theyre made by a crappy third-party. I like the dewalt neckband but they dont last very long for me. After a day of sweating while hanging drywall, the water resistance failed and quit working. Also one of the yellow earbud ends become unglued where the black band meets the yellow. Overall ive been thru about 6 neckbands. Everytime im able to get a swap at HD. If i was coming out of pocket id have quit buying them.
That case is prone to failure with accidental openings/popped out ear buds/lost buds when hanging by a carabiner unless there is a positive locking mechanism. @DeWalt why is the case not mountable on a DeWalt battery pack or DeWalt charger...what a loss for some immediate profit. Still made in Chyna I assume 🙄
Hello again, Jimmy and Vcg Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I would like to know how well they work if you have someone who has hearing problems as I have Tinnitus. Most hearing protection trys to block out the noise. Again thank you 👌
I'll stick with JLabs or Raycon. Still waiting for someone to make a pair that last for 10 hrs on a charge so I can actually listen my whole shift without swapping. I have to buy two pairs just so I can listen to tunes and protect my hearing in the shop all day.
Why not just buy a pair from a dedicated sound/speaker company like Bose, Sony, Soundcore, etc.? Not everything has to match your tool color. And the quality will be better. You wouldn’t buy a recip saw made by Sony.
@@betods1013 These are $70, and overbuilt for impact. Those brands you mentioned are obviously superior, however, intended for different application, and more expensive. These ones are sweat and water resistant. Not sure if the other brands are quite as robust.
Most true wireless buds aren't rated ear protection. ANC won't help with that either, my understanding is that it will actually do more harm than good if you don't have sufficient passive isolation.
Seems bulky for my pocket and heavy to stay on my ears. Also seems like it can open accidentally. Got some mpows and tozos and after 5 years still 💪. Keep a pair in my pocket and pop it in when I want hands free. I got the wearable Dewalt speaker and it is good when I'm under a car without keeping my phone on me. Bought the silicone cover for 6 bucks on amazon. So far so great.
@@mooreremodeling Passthrough aka aware/awareness/transparency mode is where you can hear the surroundings, basically a latency-free microphone to headphone passthrough. In some cases it's a requirement to be able to hear the surroundings rather than completely block them out. In even better earbuds, there's an adaptive transparency/passthrough/aware/etc mode where it cuts the volume of some of the sound especially sudden loud ones while still allowing you to hear it. Multipoint is being able to connect to two devices. So if a supervisor on a job site uses a laptop and a cell phone for example they can use the same earbuds for both and switch between as needed.
Those aren't ear protection. ANC does nothing to protect you from hearing damage, it only reduces the apparent sound. So yes both of those are way better earbuds, but they are 3-4 times the cost and serve an entirely different purpose.
@ these are not ear protection either. They are just noise cancelling headphones with black and yellow on them. Even their current headphones are not ear protection, they don’t have an NRR rating. AirPod pros will do a better job at isolating external noise for protection
@itsjustashow OH, I was assuming they were like the milwaukee or isotunes... if they have no NRR then just buy some gas station ones if you want this price point. I do still find the "just buy airpods" a little on the "let them eat cake" side though, very different price points.
@themandalorian9009 The milwaukees block out more noise, but the microphone is better on the dewalts. So I use the dewalts when I know I'm gonna have to be on the phone but I put in my milwaukees when I'm locking in on my work

DeWALT Just Changed Cordless Tools FOREVER (genius battery & drill)

Love that these are noise canceling, that’s huge.
I wish that they came out this year😢, but I am excited to try them!!!
Always the orange cats causing problems 🤣🤣🤣
not finding them anywhere. Tried Amazon and Dewalts sites

Appreciate your honest feedback Rick!
Oh my!!! Im just in the market for these!
Need this in my life 😩
Yes I need Cat.

No passthrough mode or multipoint? Meh.
Can you explain?

Or just buy AirPod Pros or Google Bud Pros. Better noise cancellation, sound, smart assistant and same IP rating with a smaller case

We are really living in clickbait world. Buds are here for years.
Nice $100
Are they OSHA approved????
Were going to need a comparison. Dewalt vs Milwaukee earbuds..

Vs Bose
2 different ear parts?
Nope. They're never, ever gonna sit put, and im gonna spend 50 minutes a day adjusting them.
Pass.
So crap earbuds in a plastic package
this is so stupid
if you want a good earbud, get a good earbud from a good brand
you dont see anyone buying power tools made by Nike, do you?
