      Well, I'm glad you found them! This is a series that was started sort of by accident (see episode 1). They're great fun to make because it's a day out with rail fan friends, but they're also a lot of work to edit!

    I may or may not have "adjusted" the fence one night overlooking the Benicia bridge at 24:24 to get some good shots.

    Forgot to say in Australia we often use the word "Gunzel" to decribe a railfan. Mind you it can tag anyone like your foamer to a normal railfan, and it is a term the industry may utter. Railway videographer is a good term someone else mentioned here, your in that special class I think. We also use it as a term Gunzelling train, or going out to gunzel some trains.

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have never heard that one before. Do you have any idea what the origin of it is?

    • @dthead
      @dthead 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure but it is discussed at this link: www.railpage.com.au/f-t11356544-s15.htm and I also googled "origin of gunzel" as I said very common in Australia. Happy Gunzelling mate ! ;)

    Hey John, Where did you get your crusher hat with the sun flap on the back? I have a baseball cap with a flap that I bought from Diluth Trader, but I have not been able to find a crusher hat with a sun flap. Another great episode of Chasing Trains as usual. Keep up the great work John. Thanks, Russ "Train Videographer Extraordinaire" suits you, I think.

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Russ the sun shade part was added by my top secret seamstress. I think you can buy hats like that too, but I haven't really looked because I already have one that works.

    Awesome video. Do you know of any trains in the Fremont area, Milpitas area or Santa Clara area. My son is in the San Jose area and loves trains. We try to find them around there - but no luck.

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. You can find trains around the Warm Springs area - near the BART station. You can also find them all up and down the Caltrain line and in and around the Centerville station area in Fremont. If you want to railfan in Santa Clara, go to the Santa Clara Caltrain station. While you're there, you can check out the Santa Clara historic Southern Pacific Depot building.
