    I'm waiting for my 67R to arrive. Ordered this horn in cognac but now trying to change my order to the dark vintage. That unlacquered is really beautiful though. I would just be concerned about caring for it, so going with easier care option ;-). Sounds beautiful

    The furry thing is called a pad saver it functions like an appendix you place in the sax after swabbing it .lt is not a replacement for swabbing.

    It's called a Pull Through.The sling is too small for me..I'm no giant.
    The rolled tone holes are to prevent the flat pad from trying to seal a hole on the curved surface of the sax body.
    This gives a better seal and has nothing to do with sound projection.

    Nice looking sax but I don't think the acoustics did it justice atall. .
    Would be nice to hear Gerald Albright try it out cus he can make a sax scream with ease
    Nothing personal.
    I'm probably biased cus I have the Gerald A signature series. .😎

    Why do people use those horrible legere reeds they sound so plasticky!

    • @kolbybui5317
      @kolbybui5317 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Greg Kingston well I think reeds are a personal thing so it just depends on the person

    • @saxophonelibrary9436
      @saxophonelibrary9436  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with orange_chicken that reed of choice is personal preference. Some players play the Legere reed and sound just like a cane reed.

    • @dkarson

      depends on your style in my opinion

    • @joeblankenship377

      I tried a plastic reed years ago. For me, it was basically only good for situations where volume was more important than tone.

      I've been using Legere signatures exclusively for 5 or 6 years cause they sound better and work better for me. That's why.

      Lol. Spends more time on his hair than long tones and articulation. But least he knows some of mercy mercy mercy right?
