    Macca was peaking musically in the late 60's, his output and 1uality of songs was pretty incredible. But he was also the smartest businessman in the band.- he was smart enough to see what a conniving thief Alan Kein was, and he eventually the abeatles from losing everything by handing over the Beatles management to him. Time has proven him right and the rest of the boys must have realized eventually how much Macca saved their assets...

    • @alexgrantham4747
      @alexgrantham4747 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      People still hate Macca for it. Doesn't make sense. He was literally trying to save their asses in the future tense, but idealism ruled the day. I hope John and George acknowledged this in later life.

      We will never know the internal dynamics of the core group...but, Ringo was the new boy in the band. The other three were closer as friends solely on the basis that they hung out from 14-15 years of age. They went through the early years of Hamburg together etc.

    • @TheJthom9
      @TheJthom9 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@kallekula1860 Ringo was also in Hamburg with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. In fact, he even played drums on a few occasions with The Beatles in Hamburg. So, there was a history going back further than just Ringo joining in 1962.

    • @kallekula1860
      @kallekula1860 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@TheJthom9 Yes, this, of course, is common knowledge for any Beatles fan. But, it is not the same thing as hanging out on an almost daily basis since age 15, is it?

    • @gent.6302

      Ring n George wasnt bossed around by John and Paul. They were like one person working together making records and planning how they could get from a to b. Together. They had enough People to help them with that and they had People to the dirty work, and the dirty worker could pay someone else to do the dirty work if they wanted, but i believe it was very cool to do any work for the BEATLES. I would love to work for them for free. I would probably pay for it.

    McCartney often contradicts himself regarding to what extent he patched things up with Lennon before he died.
    He usually says that they had unresolved issues, and that usually their phone conversations would end with one of them hanging up on the other.
    He says they could only have fairly friendly conversations if they discussed trivialities.

    Paul might want the world to believe John broke up the Beatles, but it was Paul who brought them to court to break them up. The Beatles were under contract until 1974 and Paul sued so he could leave. At first, the others thought of keeping the Beatles going using Klaus Voorman as bass guitar. Does anyone else notice the scar above Paul's upper lip? Wondering if that's from the auto accident he was involved in, in the 60's. Said scar was the reason he grew a mustache just prior to SPLHCB.
