First of all you can apply for Malaysia evisa so you can travel to Malaysia when you come to Thailand so you can take Thailand visa on arrival.
For Money:
You can carry USD which will be good for you to convert.
But I will suggest you should convert 10k INR to Thai baht because they only take Thai baht in visa fees

There have two way courier and self submit download the form and complete your files then send to VFS or complete your files then take an appointment and submit your application it depends on you

So we don’t want to fill foam separately for children we have just mentioned father mother foam that’s it

Yeah sure I will make BTW if you are going to meet your friend so don't use an invitation letter bro you can just take a normal tourist visa and show only 10 days booking because Thai embassy check so many things if you are going on an invitation letter.

There are two types of visa Single entry and multiple
Single entry means you can enter one time
For multiple you can enter multiple times and every time you can stay 60 days

1. In the document check list, it is mentioned that the vouchers and tickets should not be from travel agent and should be directly from hotel/airlines. I have booked via goibio/makemytrip etc. Will that confirmation work?
2. I would be travelling with a 2yr old kid (with her own passport). Do i need to apply for her visa seperately or just filling her details in minor section would work??
You can show your booking and tickets no matter if you book from any booking sites.
You can mention your kid's details and attach his/her passport.

It depends on embassy but I would like to suggest don’t use invitation letter normally show hotel booking and get a visa easily otherwise it will hard process

Since Occupation is mentioned under additional documents, Will it be a problem to get sticker visa if you are currently not employed? Will VOA be better option in such case?
It depends on your stay if you are going for a short stay so you can go with VOA

Will they ask for employment documents like ID card, offer letter, NOC from manager etc. for sticker visa? Also, if we don't produce, Will it affect chances of getting sticker visa? If yes, then VOA is safe.

Have 40000 Rs min in your bank ac take ac details stamped and signed by the bank for at least 6 months statement.
I used to put the money in the ac and after getting the visa I could use the same money for travel

Yes just need to show monthly average after that you can keep 50-60k when you are applying
