Could you tell me any real-life applications of Deformation of a thin plate and/or Linear Elasticity, i already have a condenser microphone and thermoplastic thermoforming Thanks
Sir we r using a copper diaphragm for one of r application and we r pressuring a hydraulic fluid on it and its welded on to another block underneath it And we know the working pressure Can you please help us with the calculations of thickness for the working pressure?? The dimensions o the thin sheet are 147mm by 10.5 mm and working pressure of the fluid is 1028 psi and we r constraining the deflection to 0.15 mm So can u help us find the safe thickness of plate to sustain the pressure??
ما شاء الله عليك ... يا سلام لو تشرح نفس المحاضرات ديه و لكن بالعربي يبقي جزاك الله خير
Very well explained sir. nice support to all of us. thank you very much.
Superb Lecture. Very well explained :)
Deberías considerar hacer éste video en español! No hay ninguno así y de una tendrías muchísimos suscriptores.

Is this Chapter 7 - Bending of thin Plates - from the Megson text book?

Of course it's from Delft. Super good.
Wrong. Integral from -t/2 to t/2 of tau_xy in the x-plane is N_xy, not N_y.
i think u are wrong...
yes, you are right.
