Last 2 games RR's team selection has been poor. I dont know who is thinking these things but absolute no brainer.
Against Delhi we didnt need Donovan Ferreira should have gone with Keshav Maharaj would have given us an extra bowling option with avesh and parag going 59 of 4, Maharaj could have done lot better maybe like 2 over 15 or 20 and then avesh's 1 over and parag's one over would have been enough. DC target would have been under 205 and that would have changed the equation.
Yesterday only 3 overseas players including impact player.
Maharaj in for Dubey and if we had a collapse could have substituted Powell or Dubey in for another already out batsman and if not needed could have got Burger in like yesterday.
With Maharaj we would have 7 bowling options.
3 spinners
4 pacers.
Boult and Burger should have bowled one over each up front, Rachin has weakness for swing and extra pace and we had those two options and unless they got a wicket bowling change should have been made, bring in the spinner up front let the ball grip amd turn in the powerplay itself.
141 is a below par score but RR really had bowlers who could do well in that condition and put up a fight.
