I would focus on those listings where you can see the cards clearly and only have maybe 10-20 cards in the listing. Many people try to sell giant collections that have 99% worthless bulk and maybe 1% good cards (for $500+ like you said). Be a little bit cautious right now though. The market is quickly shifting. I am not buying anything right now, because graded vintage cards are losing in value right now, but people are still trying to sell their ungraded vintage cards at a high price. Once the ungraded cards have also adjusted it's time for me to buy again :)
