I was playing in band in El Paso back in the late 80's, early 90's. Saw the silhouette of a man dancing to the songs who literally swagged and moved just like George Jefferson. Told the drummer, "Dude, I think that's Sherman Hemsley over there." Drummer says "Yeah right, this ain't Hollywood. " Left it alone. A few years later, Hemsley passes away and it is revealed he lived in El Paso. I proceed to kick myself for listening to the guy who hangs out with musicians.
It's amazing how time passes...here one day; gone the next (happy/sad memories). RIP to this wonderful cast of amazing actors. The show still brings laughter to me and my family. So many amazing and talented actors and writers. Well Done!
