Shaky has been a true embassader for Rock nRoll and given so much joy in his career I've seen him 38 times live met him twice last time in 2019 but he has to give it up now as he certainly is struggling with his vocals, be remembered and respected for what you achieved not carry on and give the haters the opportunity to pick you to pieces
When are you gonna upload your next video mate, so we can all pick your performance to bits?. It’s easy to criticise, but remember shaky is in his mid 70’s almost and maybe he doesn’t want to give it up. I agree, it’s not the same as it was, of course it isn’t, it’s not 1980 anymore!, I don’t think shaky sounds too bad here at all, certainly not the way your making out!
@@Pauls_Archive if you read what I have said it's not rude it's done out of respect for a truly great entertainer I've seen him 38 times live and met him twice I'm not picking him to pieces he done so much for the music industry' and in my opion hasn't been credited enough with his achievements and alot of people are saying the same but please look at my other comments as in brighton he sounded alot better than in Aberdeen and in Wembley people were saying it was the best out of the 6 shows but my point is he looking frail and unwell so should think of his health and obvious he not going to sound like he did in the 80s have a great day
@@srmsingsforyou one thing about shaky great diversity in his voice and when he changed his style back in 2005 with the now listen album people moaned but in my opion it was fantastic same said gor the echoes of our times brilliant would love shaky to do a Gospel album that would be something else as some of the tracks on echoes of our times are along this line of songs 🎵
Wow big change in him in last few years seen him twice was fantastic back in the day love his music my parents have said also there are so many big hits we can remember just no longer has the voice to match his recordings no more. I agree with a lot of the comments time to call it a day and reflect on a great career and not to ruin that by still doing these shows.
Who told you that? Tbh, I think with his health conditions, Sue being his wife as well as his manager is more of an aid and carer if anything else. I think there is much more there than meets the eye..Personally, I think he's got an onset of either Alzheimer's or Dementia. I read that one of the side effects of a heart attack is these conditions and it's more likely to occur in the late 60s/early 70s. He is showing a lot of these symptoms and if it turns out that this is the case, Shaky will have no choice but to retire and it'll break his heart.
Love shaky but have to admit sounds pretty bad now, saw him live a few years back and he was way out of tune then, time to call it a day and let's just enjoy his 80's records instead
He can’t sing high notes no the girl singers do it. I been told he’s thin and got bad back apparently he doesn’t eat may be there is something wrong we don’t know about but let him be leave him alone
Is it possible shakin stevens is back on the booze hear his voice has gone more worse he has lost more weight as well time u called it a day shaky mate I got to admit ur performances are not getting any better ur getting older now realise that but I do honestly think he looks and sounds like he has had a few before commming on stage
Really loved Shakin Stevens as a child. The man is an 80's Icon
