Well over 50% of the "guns" in mw3 were just taken from the gunsmith so they didn't have to actually add new weapons with fully customizable attachments.
That's to say, they just took the base version of the gun (AK) and made gunsmith conversions into separate guns. Fully removing customization in favour of bland and copy pasted attachments.
I'm with you on MWIII. I think it's actually a well-made game, and can't make any major complaints about it. I think we owe Sledgehammer a big thanks for making the game we actually asked for.
if MW2 had been released a year later and the game had been what MW3 ended up being, it would have been heralded as a more-than-worthy follow-up to 2019. as-is, it was frustrating that it was a one-year cycle into selling the game people actually wanted under another AAA price tag and not updating DMZ with the game change. to be anticipated from a dumbass big-corp publisher like Activision but no less annoying for being expected
I don’t understand how they couldn’t see this coming. The lack of variety the game has (like the gunsmith, maps or just the updates) is crazy. MW3/WZ3 had at least the Weekly challenges with the Aftermarket Parts so you had always something to do. And the thing is, it’s not like in the 1990s there were no guns and such.
MWIII there was always something new to do and because of carry forward there was more variety in the weapons. BO6 every gun is built the same and the challenges of events last too long and are more of a chore.
My problem with bo6 is the how boring the gunsmith is. Everyone was complaining about the amount of attachments, but that's what makes every gun feel different and you could adapt any weapon to the playstyle You wanted, while in bo6 is just the same attachments that mostly deal with the recoil
a lot of people complained about Infinity Ward's gunsmith saying they added a lot of negatives to the guns but in my opinion that's what makes it good. You have to actually consider which attachments you want based on how you wanted to play. Treyarch basically only makes the attachments with positives and almost no negatives
@@DoraTheMFDestroya some of the attachments that did the same thing and guns that are a copypaste were added un mw22's life cycle. In mw3 this was kinda fixed, where the only gun i can recall being copy pasted was the TAR smg version. I personally had a blast making all kinds of builds and testing them for fun in warzone and the addition of after makert parts made it even better (even tho some were garbage) meanwhile in bo6, for example, you can put a 15 round mag on your gun, but there's no buff to the movement at all, so it's just shooting yourself in the foot

IW attachments were way too harsh with penalties, to the point where improving 1 bar of movement on a gun meant massive visual recoil, idle sway and less recoil control, while improving 2 bars of recoil and stability meant that your gun is going to be slow af, and if u try to balance it out with other attachment, then somehow one debuff was going to be stronger than the benefit, leaving you with a slow gun and horrible visual recoil. Then mw3 came and started adding these foregrips and muzzles that removed most of the recoil with barely any penalty, making the AR meta even worse in warzone
MWIII was one of the best COD games of the past decade in my opinion, with so many regular content updates and general emphasis put on actually fixing issues it and the previous few games have had. I got some general COD burnout about halfway through its lifecycle and I’m quite sad about that because there was just so much good and regular content being released constantly
I played it consistently, until about July/August, then I started to need a break from COD. I did play a bit when the haunting event started. I did the mastery camo challenges, which I tend to never bother with, I tried unlocking all the conversion kits as many of them were really good, generally I was having a blast with the game for much of the year. It definitely was the best multiplayer experience since MW2019, I agree with Handler. Sledghammer does really good work. Overall MW3 felt like a more balanced and arcady version of MW2019. The only thing I missed from MW2019 was the pretty art design/color grading and emphasis on realistic visuals and audio.
For me my favorite aspect of MWIII is the inclusion of the Gunslinger vest that allows you to run Pistols as primaries with a excellent selection of equipment and perk options. Pistols in this game have very fast TTKs relative to primaries with low recoil, tight hipfire spreads and feel genuinely amazing to play with on MnK. Guns like the COR-45, Renetti/Intimidator, X12, P890 and my favorite the 9mm Daemon. It's like a whole new weapon category of hard hitting, fast handling and very accurate close range semi autos and not very many other CoD games or BO6 have anything that feels the same.
Months of "MWIII was trash, BO6 is so much fun!!!" and me wondering what the hell people were talking about. "Cod Cycle!!!" No I just think BO6 is bad and MWIII was good and I think the player charts can substantiate that.
Honestly the MW games just play smoother and has the best gun play in comparison to blackops. I didnt play the OG blackops games but mw2019 and mw3 play amazing. Glad to see you back on mw3. Its honestly a sleeper game thats only gonna get credit at the end of its life cycle for how good it was. I always hated black ops game feel. It felt clunky and animated when compared to MW. Even the original call of duty 4 MW was amazing to play with ADS animation cancel and all.

Yeah, I gotta say I very much agree with your opening statement about MW3. It definitely had a rough launch, especially after how rough MW2 was, nobody was expecting much, and it was a shame that the game took so long to really get rolling. The weekly gun parts were awesome, and always made hopping on feel dynamic and interesting. You had small, achievable goals to work through on a weekly rotation (or at your own pace if you want to stack some weeks up), and they gave you interesting rewards that made you build around new or more niche weapons. BO6 is still a good game, but I definitely feel like I have no reason to *continue* playing it, except for prestige, which, after a dozen COD games, I really stopped giving a shit about.
Bo6 was my first cod since bo3, and i really do not like the maps and the weapon selection is very boring to me. Ive considered buying mw3 because of the shear amount of customization and content. Mw3 is currently full price so i might wait for a bit...

Have you tried the new season of The Finals yet? They made Quick Cash more consistent with the respawning timer. If your teammate dies the timer will go down like normal but if a second dies the other player who died on your team will sync up to the first teammate who died and the timer syncs up if its a team wipe so no longer the respawn time will reset to 18 seconds or other players will have their own respawn timers anymore but if the 2 teammates timer has less than 5 seconds the timer kicks back up to 5 seconds plus the respawn placement after a death or team wipe will spawn a little closer to the objective. They did nerf the defib again but only to the person who got revived by the defib there is a 5 second cooldown before you can use your equipment, the devs made that change to slow down the chain revives but overall The Finals is still a great game plus the Medium build got a triple barrel fire breath shotty and the Heavy class has the Oden from MW19 Now. For new equipment the Heavy class has a Lockshot which chainlocks an enemy player in an area its useful agains those who use melee weapons. The Light class has a Gravity Vortex its builds a center of Gravity orb that sucks anyone and anything in the center making the target defenseless for a period of time. Oh yeah almost forgot the Medium class now can use Proxy Sensors that the Heavy class has now.
I deeply appreciate any and all content, but the Delta Force huge battlefield mode has been an absolute treat lately, fastest click you'll ever get from me 🖤☦️
MW3 is almost the best it's been now that bo6 is out. SBMM seems kind of relaxed, and little parties of sweats keep meeting in matches and it makes things competitive and fun.
YES YES YES 🙌🏻 FINALLY, the true fun experience! Couldn’t have said it better maps are bad, guns are boring (I don’t go ohh I love this gun it feels great) and the streaks are trash. Plus shipment is more enjoyable than camp town. The aftermarket parts were great, in game events gave us camos and cool stuff. Black ops is great at keeping the shop working flawlessly

For me, MW3 is my favourite COD, maybe one of the best in the entire franchise. I mean, 4 camo grinds (which I have done all of them), 100+ weapons (with very good gunsmith) and A LOT OF conversion kits, good movement/ engine (for me at least).Plus,I enjoyed zombies a lot. I played BO6's beta, but it didn't blew me away , so I will probably never buy it.
i understand that them adding guns was keeping the game fresh, but remember 10-15 years ago they’d sell us ONE $60 game with some $15 map packs, solid updates to bugs and complaints and we were the happiest kids ever …
MWIII had a decent start up until to the end. -Weekly events and events in general -Game support -Communication It is not perfect ofc but Sledgehammer did a really good job despite shorter development.

I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I think I enjoyed MWIII over MW2019. It was fun to play the MW2 maps again with friends who didn’t play CoD back then, I liked a lot of the guns, dead silence was a perk, I liked the movement, and most of all the aftermarket parts and event camos kept me entertained the whole year. MW2019 had superior gunplay for sure though.
I was about to comment on your last bo6 video if you could bring back some mw3, and here we are. Not sure if updates can fix bo6 since my biggest complaint are the maps, maybe if they bring back some og bo2 maps. Please continue making more mw3 content, since its also more enjoyable to watch too!

For new equipment the Heavy class has a Lockshot which chainlocks an enemy player in an area its useful agains those who use melee weapons. The Light class has a Gravity Vortex its builds a center of Gravity orb that sucks anyone and anything in the center making the target defenseless for a period of time. Oh yeah almost forgot the Medium class now can use Proxy Sensors that the Heavy class has now.

MW3 is almost the best it's been now that bo6 is out. SBMM seems kind of relaxed, and little parties of sweats keep meeting in matches and it makes things competitive and fun.
YES YES YES 🙌🏻 FINALLY, the true fun experience! Couldn’t have said it better maps are bad, guns are boring (I don’t go ohh I love this gun it feels great) and the streaks are trash. Plus shipment is more enjoyable than camp town. The aftermarket parts were great, in game events gave us camos and cool stuff. Black ops is great at keeping the shop working flawlessly
Bone conduction to counter the sneakers was really good, hate how in bo6 amp modification is a field upgrade instead if a perk

I feel like Slayed's been branching out a bit more over the past year or so (Among Us lobbies etc.) and I feel you could definitely have success or at the very least fun trying some random things. For me, MW3 is my favourite COD, maybe one of the best in the entire franchise. I mean, 4 camo grinds (which I have done all of them), 100+ weapons (with very good gunsmith) and A LOT OF conversion kits, good movement/ engine (for me at least).Plus,I enjoyed zombies a lot. I played BO6's beta, but it didn't blew me away , so I will probably never buy it.

I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I think I enjoyed MWIII over MW2019. It was fun to play the MW2 maps again with friends who didn’t play CoD back then, I liked a lot of the guns, dead silence was a perk, I liked the movement, and most of all the aftermarket parts and event camos kept me entertained the whole year. MW2019 had superior gunplay for sure though.
Not gonna lie, this game has the best feeling guns in the franchise.
Honestly, it wasn’t too static like mw2019 (which I’m not complaining) but not too crazy like mw2022. It made for a great modern cod 😢

Hey handler nice games. I love mw3 it’s by far the best cod we’ve had since mw2019 the content, the maps, the guns. I just regret the spas 12 akimbo and some other weapons too overpowered. I would love to have the amax and the barett 50 for weapons and i think we could have specialist but beside all of this it’s a great game defefinitly better than bo6

I think it’s still great to go back a few old games after being burned out on one game you play. I may have suggestion but Pubg or maybe a battle royale game might be good in 2025 and great videos and keep doing what you do best and glad to hear you want to branch out to try other games then just playing call of duty mobile 👍
