This looks easy when you make it to your team mate .. but in case you have a real hurting PT .. it's different.

Instead of putting two stirrups isn’t it easier to put just one u slab going from one side to the other? Thanks

I understand that a plaster of Pais cast is cheaper than fiberglass, but is it really worth it? There is virtually no mess with the fiberglass and a heck of a lot with plaster.

POP application is a dying art . ! you seldom see them now , so many patients have factory made plastic splints instead .

Look how labor intensive this is. It's only continued where health care worker wages are so low it worth it buy the cheaper materials. Doesn't even consider how much less comfortable this huge plaster is compared to an Aircast or fibre cast/splint

Why do you use those awful cobweb bandages instead of the ace bandages they use in America?

Cheaper, why else. They stick patients in heavy plaster and don't even use stockingette.

@@schnoodle3 Why would you use stockinette on a new injury with chance of it continuing to swell? This is why these are only temporary.

3rd world countries don't have the luxury of ACE bandages. It helps to put thought in before commenting.

@@DocfayeZA Watch who you're calling a third world country!
We have access to everything else in the UK, why not proper bandages...

It is backslab not backslap, no, fireplace heat wont melt it and water wont disintegrate plaster of paris once hardened although she shouldnt really be soaking it in water as the skin integrity can be compromised! Really bad video! 5/10.
