This choir is from Mizoram one of many small states in NE India which is 90% Christian mainly Baptist and Presbyterian. Their ancestors were Mongolians who were ""head hunters" and missionaries from America and UK braved the dangers to take the gospel to them. That was just over a century ago and today the people of Mizoram and the other large State of Nagaland proudly practise the Evangelical faith as taught to them. They comprise a number of tribes who speak different dialects but English is taught in schools and widely spoken especially by the younger generation. Their lifestyle is no different to communities in the West and they are generally very talented musically. There are a number of exceptionally good choirs such as Besy, BCM and CKTP and choir singing has become part of their culture. Today they are "heart hunters" for Christ and send their own people to spread the gospel to other Asian countries.
