This is the first WW2 video I’ve seen that showed where Easy spent their leisure time and I also liked the Upottery field footage… great job gentlemen! From a fellow biker I’m envious you got to do that on bikes, what an experience!

Amazing group of men. And truly they were the greatest generation. Thank you for what you did for us.

Great video! I love now and then. I am from the US and finishing up an assignment in Germany. We went to the Cross Roads west of Arnhem and also to Bastogne and Foy. I plan to go to France one say to see those locations as well.
We went to many other places where famous battles took place like Arnhem, Nijmegen and Eindhoven (Operation Market Garden), The bridge at Remagen, Aachen, many sites in Berlin, etc. So much to see.
    Thanks for posting!

      Thanks for your comment.
I hope every year I discover new places to visit. I've covered all in Europe and North Africa. My favourite has to be the beach (V Beach) in the Gallipoli peninsular. And sleeping in one of the old barracks at Upottery airfield.
A must Is the Eagles nest.
