Steve Vai only has years on the planet and miles on his strings over you. Both of you are at a level barely restrained by the boundries of physics and mortality. This isn't meant as a direct comparison of their very different styles or a shoe boxing of either player's talent. I beileve it can be said with little debate that Steve Vai is one of the most talented players to have played the guitar in front live audiences - and the things that Charlie does are uniquely beautiful, strange and powerful all at once. A collab between the two would quite possibly interfere with time's ability to be processed on a linear scale.
