Hi Charles, this is IKEA here. Please can we have our pencils back, we're running a bit low on them! 😂 Seriously though....... here's a thought... maybe you could sell prints of your work through IKEA, I'm sure that they would look good in the room settings!! Great demo as usual.
Greetings Charles. I have several of your books and love them. Want to buy another (Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes) but have a question for you- What is the difference between "Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes" and "Quick and Clever Watercolours"? Thanks.
@@charlesevans7706 Thank you. The first (Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes) shows published in June 2006 by David & Charles publishers and is the one I'm considering. The 2nd (Quick and Clever Watercolours) shows published in April 2011 by Davide & Charles. Wonder if it's the same book with different title?

Years and years!
@@charlesevans7706 Are they the same brand?
@@moma-b yes just the same.
Thanks Charles. Just bought the book - any chance you’ll demo other projects from the book?

May I ask if you know where fellow artist Frank Clarke is?
Hi, Frank has been in the States for years now.
How do you get clean colors from that palette? 🙀. I follow Frank Halliday also.
Franks a lovely bloke.

To be perfectly honest with you, I had nooo idea there were 2 titles. I know there was a watercolour one and a watercolour pencils one.

PS I am doing your coastal landscapes!
You saved my evening. May i ask. Is the yellow ochre fresh squeezed paint. My ochre always looks dull. Yours looks bright and yellowish.
I only ever freshly squeeze it when I need more, but it’s always the same.
Been watching you now for a while, what sort of paper do you use? I can’t stop mine from crinkling and distorting when doin a wash
It’s The Langton Rough 140lb it’s on my website.

Can`t understand why you always use a little stubby pencil. Is there any reason why?
Easy peezy, lemon squeezy...........NOT for me!! Those rocks, wow, and your poths and grauss
Ahahaha.
Always a good day when Charles posts a video! Any chance of a oil? thanks
Thank you so much. I will get around to those eventually.
