    Very nice! I like the blend on the hillsides. When I first began watching this channel I just couldn’t believe that a painting like this could be done, start to finish, this quickly. Thanks for sharing, I may have a go at this one.

    Lovely inspiring painting I've got two of your books bought for xmas ! I must learn not to fiddle with it to much I find knowing when to stop is hard and end up making it muddy

    Seriously though....... here's a thought... maybe you could sell prints of your work through IKEA, I'm sure that they would look good in the room settings!! Great demo as usual.

    Greetings Charles. I have several of your books and love them. Want to buy another (Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes) but have a question for you- What is the difference between "Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes" and "Quick and Clever Watercolours"? Thanks.

      To be perfectly honest with you, I had nooo idea there were 2 titles. I know there was a watercolour one and a watercolour pencils one.

      @@charlesevans7706 Thank you. The first (Quick and Clever Watercolour Landscapes) shows published in June 2006 by David & Charles publishers and is the one I'm considering. The 2nd (Quick and Clever Watercolours) shows published in April 2011 by Davide & Charles. Wonder if it's the same book with different title?

    You saved my evening. May i ask. Is the yellow ochre fresh squeezed paint. My ochre always looks dull. Yours looks bright and yellowish.

      I only ever freshly squeeze it when I need more, but it’s always the same.

      @@charlesevans7706 hi thanks for the reply , I have Daler Rowney 190lb paper but cannot stop it warping, I am more used to oils, but after watching your videos have been encouraged to try watercolour but for the warping

    I have your bòok on watercolour rescue but I cannot find the rule for making a flat plain ( as in a field) thank you for any help you can give me

      Just make sure all of the brushstrokes are horizontal!
