This was the main reason why I opted for DDD on Sparkle on the 2nd half as it would help guarantee LL moved how I wanted it to (3 LL's in 2 cycles (28 -> 26) as opposed to 3 LL's in 3 cycles (28 -> 25). But again I need to do some more solid testing to make sure it's a mechanic or I'm seeing it incorrectly, so don't go around taking my word as gospel. Also just to note, the first time I did this 2 cycle clear I entered the 2nd wave (Aventurine's wave) with 3 stacks and still got 3 LL's in, but I wasn't recording that run as I was testing so I can't compare sadly.

hello! this is bcs every stack on LL gives it additional 10 speed which lets it eat through its action gauge faster. Action gauge is basically how many steps your char has to take to get to their turn with speed being how big of a step theyre taking. The earlier you make LL take bigger steps, the faster he'll take his turn.
TLDR:The closer a unit is to have their turn the less effective speed is. Long Explanation: There are 3 things on speed, the Action Gauge(AG) your Speed(SPD) and the Action Value(AV) AV=AG/SPD. Let's use the analogy used by Guoba, AG is like a chocolate bar of 10k pieces, units have their turns after eating the entire chocolate, SPD is how many pieces a unit can eat in a single bite and AV is how many bites you take to eat the entire chocolate. If you eat some pieces of a chocolate, but suddenly you can eat more pieces per bite, you won't eat faster what you have already eaten, or in more tecnical therms, if a characters consumes some AG the SPD increase will only affect the remaining AG and be a lesser AV decrease than if you had buffed their SPD at 10k AG. Here it goes a example, a unit has 100 speed so their base AV is 100, but action queue goes on and their AV gets reduced to 80(closer to have a turn), in this situation it could be interpreted like 8k/100=80(AG/SPD=AV), and now if we buff that unit with Asta's ult(+50speed at lvl10) it will look like 8k/150 so their remaining AV will be 53.3... but, 2k AG have already been consumed with 100 SPD(2k/100), now going back to the chocolate part, it's like the unit has already eaten 20 bites of the chocolate and will still need to take more 53.3 to have their turn, which could be represented as 2k/100+8k/150 leading to a total 73.3 AV to get a turn, when if no speed was wasted it would take 66,6 AV to get a turn.
Can be explained quite easy: LL has its own base spd value of 60 on 3 stacks and every extra stack adds 10 spd so thanks to that you can manipulate when LL will strike since his spd values works just like every other character in the game.
Robin is amazing, but for me doesnt add enough value to warrant up to 160 tickets. ( I am happy with my 2 and 3 cycle clears on either side). Regarding LL I know what you mean. Glad to see its not me that was tripping and smth sus is going on there.
Yeah she’s great but she’s not that worth it, especially if you have the other 5* harmonies already. There’ll probably be a better support for JY than Robin in future.
Do you think Jing Yuan's E1 is worthy? I currently have him with his LC and i have been thinking about getting his E1 in the future but i don't know if it makes a big difference
If you are able to get other E1's like Robin's, I would get something else. When I got his E1 during his rerun, I tested it on the 2.0 MOC 12 second half against Sam, and I remember only seeing ~70K more damage in a 2 elite (lightning weak) scenario. Meanwhile in Pure Fiction his E1 is more or less complete overkill.
Heard from Yellovv that Jing’s new BiS for fast clears is now Robin + Jing + Tingyun + Huo Huo. Apparently it’s calc’ed to do about 400k more damage than the previous BiS Sparkle + Tingyun team previously. That being said, it does require you to clear fast since Robin doesn’t take kindly to being in prolonged fights, so it will require high user end investment.
Aventurine is stronger than Huohuo at least for this MOC because he triggers the Turbulence much better + there are a lot of blast/AOE attacks that help Robin get energy from being hit. Once we go back to mainly single target attacks from enemies, the difference in energy gain between Aventurine and Huohuo will be much bigger. Currently this is my best team but I've yet to test out the Tingyun-Robin-JY-Huohuo team which is supposedly the best but hardest to play. For me Robin is an upgrade, but honestly the difference isn't like THAT much since Robin is good for JY because she herself is good, not because she's tailored for him like Tingyun basically is.

If you prefer comfort, I'd still go with Sparkle. Gepard is technically good enough but you will suffer from a lack of consistent Robin ults if Robin isn't hit enough. Gepard has higher aggro than Aventurine and I can do somewhat stable ults with Robin with him by placing Robin next to him for blast attacks. Aventurine isn't perfect, but he at least has supplemental energy with his FUA's to trigger her talent. Huohuo is the best because she can hold QPQ and has her ult for battery. You can also use Meshing Cogs on Robin to accelerate her energy gain, but again it requires her to get hit.

She is not. Imo, she is good because she herself is amazing, not because she does anything particularly revolutionary for JY. But she can be hard to utilize if you don't have Huohuo or not relying on her being hit to get energy.
I think the event LC is probably better. The thing with Bronya LC is while the ERR and SP are good, the DMG% part goes to waste. And Robin can’t really cycle through her ult fast so it’s like only 1 SP lol. I personally find Bronya LC a bit excessive in ER with not much other benefit. At least with the event LC she can chip in with more damage.
