Ren said he covered this for his grandmother and no matter how many times he tried he couldn't get through it without crying - you can hear that in his voice. Beautiful cover, I'm a long time fan and Ren can do no wrong in my eyes

The most calm Ren has been in a cover. He put he’s flares on it , but stuck to the original pretty tight. To me, maybe it means it’s significant to him. Has a memory attached to the song I bet. Love the relax factor on this one!

Except... he didn't, lol. :) Ren's talked about this. He said the last thing you want, as a teenage boy, is to be taught by your mum. H said i t would have just felt awkward. So, no lessons from his mum. Just a couple of basic tips and that's it. His vocals are as self-taught as the dozen other instruments he plays. :)

YES, the way one person can make an entire chore out of his voice alone is spectacular. He bring deep emotions out to surface from me with his music like a great release of deep seeded emotions. As you misspelled Haley's name I assumed you're not a native English speaker, and as your nick refers to Italy (Tuscany or 'la Toscana' is a region in Italy, Tuscans is the English noun for the inhabitants of Tuscany) I guessed you might be Italian... But as Italian and Portuguese are both Romanic languages they are quite close, the same sentence ('Greetings from Bavaria to Tuscany") in Portuguese would be "Saudações da Baviera à Toscana", your guess was not totally off... - so instead greetings from Bavaria to wherever you may be... What's the background of your nick then?

It is also one of my favourite songs 👍 I have been a singer songwriter since my rebellious teenage years ( I am 62 now ) I tried recording a similarly, close mic'ed, vulnerable sounding, version of You Were Always On My Mind, about 12 years ago, ( just me, a battered old acoustic guitar and a condenser mic )needless to say it was nowhere near as good as this 😂All the best brother.

It does! Idk if I said it in the video but I was thinking it sounds raw. Like obviously recorded with backing vocals and stuff but it doesn’t sound like the audio was touched up any
