Sir I just want to say great video! I watch all your videos and I learn so much! I am a 3 time combat vet and was raised by my grandfather and grandmother. He taught me everything about the outdoors and hunting and fishing! He always made it one on one with me and taught me the importance of the sport. I greatly appreciate the time you take with your videos and how you explain everything! It reminds me of my grandfather he was my bestfriend! I lost him just before Thanksgiving this year! So I hope to pass it along to my kids as well as he did. I am definitely getting some of those moonshine jigs soon. And saving for a boat. Thank you for the time you take for these awesome videos! It reminds me of a great man ever day! And I always learn something new everyday! Thank you sir! Hope I can meet you o e day and maybe have the honor of fishing with you one day!

I love your videos. There's no one on TH-cam like you. I can feel your passion for fishing through the screen. You make me want to fish more than anyone else on TH-cam. Deadgum there Richard Gene, 24 degrees with 12 to 20 winds is a mite chilly out there on the water. But when you catch a 7.5 LMB all of a sudden things warm up in a hurry. And you are rite the best time to go fishen is when you can. As long as there is no lightning and thunder and the winds are 25 or less, its time to go wet a hook. Good job again my man. We apprec you putten on your warmies and going out there making videos. Good thang you didn't have to take a squirt!!

you can give that fish all the credit you want but i give the credit to you for braving the cold and the lonelyness of fishing by your self / i live in FLA and have a decent boat but i see guys out 10 or 20 miles in small bass boats and glencoes all by themselves that there is half dedication and half dumb although i may have thoose ratios totally screwed up / but nice fish .

Lol you remember how it was in about a month last year. For here it was awful, and you were pushing through some ice, which is rare lol. Hopefully it won't be as bad, but it sure seems to be shaping up to be.
For those people that fish in the winter
Do you wear a drysuit in case you end up in the water. Also how do you keep the water from freezing in the engine after pulling boat out of water

sweet corn is the best to catch Golden shiners only thing I can constantly catch them on. Only caught 3 In 4 years on lures an artificial. 20+ on sweet corn some days.
