I don't think so, you have made some good moves early on, that I am sure have put you in a pretty good position. I remember when my ks0 was making 800 Kas a day...I know you had some pretty nice hashrate back then!

I hope so too. You might want to check and see, they might give you a coupon too. I think they did the coupon for people who just bought so we don't feel slighted. because I literally just paid over $8,000 for a KS0 Ultra and KS5L that I havnt even received yet and probably wont receive for another month. Then you see the price drop and it feels like a gut punch lol

@@eliesawma212 I never personally recommend anything. I will tell you what I'm doing though. I've ordered 3 KS5L's and will either order one more KS5L or a KS5M. (I have a coupon I can use still to drop the price so it's hard to pass up). With all the bullish catalysts for Kaspa like the Marathon announcement and KRC20, I want to stay competitive with the hashrate. I know the hashrate will keep going up and probably even more in August. But I always feel like the sooner the better with Kaspa mining because of the aggressive emissions schedule
I am as frustrated as humanly possible with iceriver crap.
First, since the very first time I turned on my KS5L I have had an abnormal miner temperature reading. Why is this? I have already sent an email about this WITH NO RESPONSE.
Secondly, On April 1st, I paid $13,149.00 for my KS5L, I received it In Late May. It has been turned on for less than 3 weeks. Now they are selling the same model for $4799.00?!?! What in the world?! They even lowered the price down to $7499.00 by the time I got mine and turned it on! What in the world is going on?! This is so incredibly disrespectful.
Thirdly, My wife ordered 10 KS0 Ultras last week for $349.00 each, BEFORE THEY HAVE EVEN SHIPPED you are now selling them for $239.00????? What kind of scam are they running !?!?!?
Lastly, I received a bill from UPS today for $3500.00 for customs taxes?!!? Why was I not notified of this bill?!?!?! Just out of the blue, a $3500 bill.
This is all udderly ridiculous. I spent as much money as a new car costs and they have terrible to no customer service.
So I am out:
-$8350.00 (the difference of the price in the KS5L in the last month)
-$1100.00 (the difference in the price of the KS0 ultras, that havent even been shipped)
-$3500.00 (import tariffs that I was supposed to know about)
For a total of -$12,950.00
I am so disgusted with this company.

I won't delete this comment because it'll be a warning to others. I talk about the reality of Kaspa ASIC mining and the hashrate going up and import duties in a lot of my videos. These miners havnt even shipped yet. I'm in the same boat as you and so is everybody else. I ordered two KS5L's that probably won't be delivered until sometime in July, then I will order another KS5L and KSO Ultra today that probably won't be delivered until late July. You have a headstart on mining before more miners hit the network. If you keep your eyes on the prize and wait until the bull run to sell the coin you've mined and the machines I hope you'll do well. If you spent that much money on miners you must have at least some conviction in Kaspa right?

Good move for the summer, I am looking to get a ks0 ultra just for fun, almost done with kaspa, not easy to keep going with the hashrate.
It is very difficult to keep up with the Kaspa Hashrate. It wasn't always that way. But I feel like in order to keep ahead I'll have to start selling and buying hardware more often

I don't blame you for selling some but you could just solo mine if your concerned about the network hash rate. I'm going to keep mining to the end. I'm keeping the hardware and the coin. I may buy a couple more Ultra's. Do what you have to do.
Yeah it was a hard decision and I was actually dad packing up a few of them. I can don't want to sell my crypto that I've worked hard to accumulate. So I had to sell some hardware to be able to afford these newer machines. I also did it so I could keep making videos, because no one seems to care about the regular KS0 anymore etc. I have to adapt or fizzle out

It is pretty crazy, and I do worry with all these new miners shipping out the hashrate will go even more insane. I keep saying I'm not going to get any more of these machines, but I always end up doing it anyway lol

Being a first mover since august 2023 has been SHIT!. Paid 20.000 for a KS3L, 1 month later KS3M 8800 USd. Now i bought KS5L 11.000 usd, 15 days later 6800 usd, bought another. then now 15 days later 4600 usd WTF Iceriver.
I know what you mean but hopefully being a first mover will pay off if you HODL'd the coin. I bought a KS3L in August and mined on it until just about a week ago and I've mined a ton of Kaspa with that thing. You must have a boat load of Kas by now?

first of all thanks for your videos, it's always fun!
My ULTRA arrived today, but only manages a maximum of 260GH/s (without modifications). It fluctuates between 190 and 260. Normally it should fluctuate around 400GH/s.
Do you have any idea where the problem could lie? The Iceriver support has unfortunately not yet responded.

I just got home from traveling to two different crypro conferences in the past week so I havnt had time to dig into the KS0 Ultra yet. I think they like to run warmer from what I hear. If your temps are too low, they probably won't like it

At first I thought it was more of a joke, but an hour ago I switched off the 120mm fan and suddenly the thing is doing 415GH/s.
What went wrong in production?
I actually wanted to completely modify it like my ks0 Pro and trim it for maximum cooling, but that doesn't make much sense.

@Steckdosenauto nothing went wrong. The KS0 Pro always liked hotter temps too. The chip temps need to be in a certain range for optimal performance just like a car does. It's normal, it's just not what most are used to

@@derrickjones1404 I use Terra hosting, they are great people! I will say, Icerivers don't take well to hosting unfortunately. Iceriver designed them a little weird and if you have them hosted they don't always work well with programs like Foreman that a lot of hosting companies use to control them etc. just know that going in if you plan to have any Iceriver hosted at any facility

I think this batch isn't going to get delivered until late July but it does suck that the price of the hardware keeps changing. I bought two of the KS5L'S and it basically cost me like $18k after shipping and import duties etc. Then a few days later the price dropped to these levels. I hope you stack a ton of Kas and get a lot out of your machine
I hate these stupid one time sales. I leaves little guys like me hopeless to raise the funds for a asic like this on time. meh
I kind of have to say I agree with you. I wasn't expecting this, and now I have to make a quick decision to spend even more money. But I have to give it a try because I want the average cost of my machines and hashrate to be lower. I try to keep dry powder ready for random and sudden opportunities like this. In this case I was lucky that I had just started selling some hardware
