Dame is such a corporate shark. he's good at sounding nice. won't say he doesn't have a point at all but when u have a partner who u know doesn't communicate well or shows their discontent he as a "better" person Try to do to get him to open up. I work in a corporate world.seen many sharks like this. he always points a finger at others but can't see he was part of the problem as well.

exactly. in this video he kinda admit he knew there was something escalating and as a friend slash partner instead of trying to resolve it. he did the typical. sad really. damn jokerr was right about dame then. I haven't heard a humble word from dame at all. I used to use tactics like this before. again I understand it's hard to work for a prima dona but if ur one as well..then there's no resolution at all. one has to be the face but the other could be the influence if done correctly. sad they had such a good thing going too

The thing is, you would never expect that from him talking to him in person. When I met him in early 2012 he was a real nice guy, he took the time to talk with the fans and take photos, sign autographs and whatnot. I talked with him for a good 10 minutes or so before everyone knew he was in the room. Jarren & Crooked I are the only ones I've met that actually will stand there and have long conversations with people.
Now obviously people can put on an act.

Don't listen to Funk Volume, but it's obvious Hopsin just wanted a new direction with either new people or more of himself. He's unlike the people signed to the label so he probably didn't like what it had become. He's not starting over though lol, he is 'Funk Volume' and his social media presence is what makes it work so starting over would be starting a new Facebook, Twitter etc account, not leaving 'Funk Volume'. This guy saying what he said gave him the green light to do what he already planned.

Dame is really good at portraying the good guy. especially compared to hopsin who can be errtic at times when trying to explain things. But I can tel he played a major role in the destruction as well, I have been in similiar situations with business partners. and when egos get involved it never mixes well. Dame casually never admits that he was making more than every other artist besides hopsin..and hopsin made 85% of the gross income for fv. Dame was building a stance to solidify himself into agreement with hop, jarren, and dizzy, where eventually he would make roughly 35% of each of their incomes and hopsin didnt like that he was funding this for someone he did not agree with. The same reason dame did not w ant to give up the royalties after it was done. I definitely see through his BS hopsin made him entirely too much control and money. But Hop is also a bitch for throwing everyone under the bus and switchng up on his fans for money too.

Man, I love Hop's music and I'm glad it has all worked out for him thus far but I'm honestly believing Dame's side of the story better.
And honestly the main reason why is because as Dame's explaining how Hop acts I'm hearing a lot of my own attitudes and flaws and I believe it cause I honestly reckon that's how I'd react in those situations too.
Still, though, aside from the messy breakup I hope Hop keeps doing what he's doing. His music is excellent and I'm keen to hear more.

Darqsy then chocholate is a drug, hamburger is drug. I can be addictive to anything that exist on this world so that what are you saying doesnt make any sense. Only reason why Marihuana isnt legal is cuz there is multi milion investmen in pharmacies that makes money from people being "depresed" having "headache" or anything that is coused by this lifestyle. Repetitive cycle that is here to make you go crazy and sick people are making money from that.

I'm not saying Weed shpuld be illegal, i think the opposite actually. but dont be ignorant, it is indeed a drug. and learn to spell the thing you are defending. *Marijuana

I'm sorry, it is the managers job to get the artists out there. Sticking in there and waiting it out another year is an excuse. Not meeting expectations or goals as a team; you need to question that. The question about money, schedules and Dame's overall bad managing in general sounds shady to me. All in all, it was a good decision to dump Dame as a manager - it is obvious that Hops doesn't need him anymore and this is all clear from the release of Undercover Prodigy. Which in the end wouldnt mean he refused to altogether, it would just mean to certain ppl and artist within said crew he wouldnt. Basically, i like him and enjoy his shit, but you im not to into. like a i wanna work with who i like the most kinda thing maybe. Though i guess its niether here nor there. Anyone who’s been a fan of Hopsin could see obvious mental instability throughout his early career and later, so when he spazzed out and completely ditched, dizzy, and Jaron and threw Funk volume in the trash, I didn’t just side with him the first thing I thought was that he just had one of his Yearly, mental breakdowns, and an issue that could probably be solved behind the scenes he decided to blow up…….
After listening to dizzy and now this interview it just kind of proved me right …Hopsin is still the best rapper and he’s the reason why most people even cared about Funk volume but that doesn’t mean that he’s perfect or made the right decisions ……. I truly felt bad for Dizzy Wright. He could’ve easily climbed the ranks and been collaborating with huge name rappers in the industry while Hopp continued to dominate and control the underground scene plus Jarren Benton coming in underneath seemed like they had nothing but the world ahead of them, I’m gonna be even more honest I think dizzy after a couple years could’ve actually started to outshine Hopsin because of his main stream, industry connections, and the fact that he didn’t burn so many bridges by dissing everybody dizzy was the ultimate weapon able to click with underground rappers and main stream rappers as well

i dont believe either, and i question both, in my experience, both have detrimental facts that will harm themselves that they wont speak on, and both sides will bullshit a little and make themselves look like the one in the right.... the only one i would believe is the one that speaks on his own faults and things that he fucked up on and says things similar to " i cant speak for the other guy" or "In my opinion" . Simply because if you dont speak on your own faults then you are just trying to make yourself look good, and if you are making yourself look good then you do have dark secrets that you are trying to hide. Most of the time. 'The Truth is one that speaks on your good actions and the actions that show your own faults, without that then you are just bullshitting...'

For those of you who are saying hop is a bitch just think you where hop for a second so your making like 80% of FV's money feeding people and your label owner your manger your accountant (dame) saying you don't work hard after being warned by dizzy not to say that and going out of his way to say you don't work hard hop so thing of it that way

  • @jsnike91

I've met Hop and Dame several times. Even worked an FV in the community event with Dame, and even though I love hopsins music, when this whole break up originally started, I knew hop was overreacting. Dame is very smart and level headed. Hopsin reacts too much on emotion. While I do think dame always preferred working with dizzy over hop, I know dame always had the best interest for hop and the whole label. It's bad right now, but something is telling me FV will be back in 2-3 years!

A better thing to say is Hop I know you are working hard but we need to step it up, we need to be on our grind and put 150% effort on promoting out product.
