That would be very useful to people who love to camp or hike but need to keep insulin or other meds cold. No more worrying about your meds not being at the right temp to keep it safe.

I never would have thought of that, thank you! You are so right. Another person talked about using a solar panel to power it. Making it even more possible for those who need refrigerated medication to be off grid for expended times. Thank you for your comment, very helpful! Hugs!

Hi Favor! That is a nice little fridge/freezer! I will be interested to see what you think of it! Hugs!

So far, I am liking it. I was thinking nice for hurricane season when the power is out to keep things cold. They have larger sizes, too. After Ike my mother's power was out for two weeks. Her generator only ran a few small things so this would have been really nice to have. Hugs!

We have 2 small refrigerator and or freezers we use in our boat. As we now live fulltime on our boat.

I love that you lie full time on your boat. I can only dream of full time RV living... one day! These being so compact and light weight I can see how they would be very useful on a boat! Thank you my friend! Hugs!

So far I really like this. I am thinking of ways to use it when not camping/hiking/picnicking. I’ll be happy I have in hurricane season for sure! Hugs!

@@LifeWithFavor My kids go tent camping and if we get a 100 watt solar panel and maybe a Jackery it would work for them. Also, you can fully charge a Jackery and keep it powered by that for I think up to 10 hours. Need to do my homework on that. Oh and you can charge the Jackery going down the road. Win Win.

Pro tip: Add an extra layer of insulation by using a winter down-filled coat or a folded down-filled duvet to wrap over and around the unit, leaving the vent uncovered. You would be very surprised at how much this helps!

We have a down filled duvet we use in the camper, it is amazing; warm in winter and cool in summer. Great suggestion when it is super hot outside to keep it nice and cool and not have to work so hard and likewise in the winter! Thank you for the suggestion! Hugs!

Can it run without being plugged in? How long will food stay cold if I unplug it?

Word of advice, please do not leave that outside when you are gone. It will be stolen instantly. Very nice ! :)
