I absolutely loved these series and Following the Messiah. I would LOVE to see more travel videos like this. Needless to say I'll be looking all over the web for them.. I'll never be able to visit Israel in person, so this is the only way I can see all the good stuff.
Thank you for a great trip.

I loved this documentary. Thank you for bringing the Bible to Life to me. There’s something about being able to see the topography and actual locations and archeological evidence that just deepens my faith.

I love these behind the scenes productions. It's incredible to see how much work is involved in putting a series like this together, logistics, filming and post production. You all did a great job!

Small group questions: Episode 2: noticed the green fields and fields that looked like harvested wheat...the question asked is it that how the valley would have looked in the time of David and Goliath?
2nd question: Khirbet Qeiyafa is refereed as “the town of David” ....where do we find this information!.
    Enjoying and appreciate

Great questions! And we love to hear that you all are using these in a small group study: the perfect setting! Question #1: We don't know exactly what it would have looked liked during David's day, however the scriptures mention a brook that David chose his small stones from. The Elah Brook is a wet-water stream, which means that it has water flowing through it only during the later periods of the rainy season. In addition, we know that it was typical for battles to take place in the springtime (2 Samuel 11:1), which would coincide with the end of the rainy season. So, I would expect that the field would be green at the time of the battle. And, if it was being farmed for wheat, the wheat would be almost ready for harvest. #2 What we mean by that statement is that the city was around and active during the time of David. That information can be found from the publications produced by those who were excavating the site.
