Topslip is a well-known location in the Annamalai mountain range in the Western Ghats of the Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu. It is 76 kilometers from Coimbatore, 30 km from Pollachi, and 5 km from Parambikkulam. Situated at a height of 2554 feet, it is well-known for the nearby national park and wildlife refuge.
Palghat Gap to the north divides the Annamalai Tiger Reserve from the Nilgiri Hills, and Topslip is a minor portion of this reserve. Because so much of its timber slid down to the plains below, it acquired its moniker during the British era. It is well-known for the elephant camp, animal safaris, agreeable weather, and stunning vistas of the Annamalai Hills in addition to being a medicinal plant conservation area.
