Grubby’s problem solving capability is so impressive. The way he casually saved his naga and kept harassing his opponent was superbly done.
yep, tactics are for pussies, the only reason why he wins is because of great control over the game, the microing and crap. So nice to watch. Zepellin and macro thing.

Your logic doesn't make sense because if they are immortals then time is meaningless.
The hero says those things because of the context of the story when it was introduce, all it's missions revolves around a theme of time sensitivity, escaping prison, running away, saving Illidan before he gets executed, sneaking around dark fortress to deactivate defense systems as it is obliterating your allies.
The heroe's speech fits all those scenarios.

Give your opponent a once in a lifetime opportunity to choose what 1 hero and 3 units you are allowed to use and tell them you will only build those units and stick to what they say, (or some variation of this). then hopefully beat them with there own crazy suggestions.

I just realized that Ancients of War have gauntlets and real tree hands. I always thought they had wooden buckets isntead of hands for some reason.
@grubby, a natural disaster challenge would be funny, vulcano, earthquake and cyclone for example, kinda hard though since you need 3 lvl 6 heroes. Love your vids man.
To make the difficulty suitable, we can make the challenge only volcano + earthquake. Volcano and earthquake are naturally closely related.
just do it in FFA and will do 2 chickens nuggets with one bite

It will be great if naga, high elf and blackrock orc factions got added to multiplayer. Anyway nice dota play style (defend of the ancients)
Demons would be the last race to add that also have buildings in the base game. Demons are a side race to undead, Naga side race of night elf, high elves side race to humans, and Blackrock orcs side race to orcs. All 4 of these extra races already have several unique buildings in the game.
@@135791max demons do not have that much buildings but yeah it can be an alternative to undead. It will be great if its like cnc generals zero hour

Found you from the start of your Dota2 adventure and I have been in love with your recent solo hero WC3 videos. I have played maybe 3 games of WC3 in my life so I know basically nothing but I wanted to know what is the actual correct counterplay against this?
Probably splitting up your higher number army and prioritizing low-commitment siege. Chimeras would be especially nasty. Zeppelins work on the maps that have them. Their hero can only be in one place at a time (unless it's a level 5+ Warden which is AM mobility on steroids, or Blademaster which is also really fast).
The opponent could have gone Gryphons. IIRC they deal magic damage, which is strong against the heavy armor of the Ancients of War. They fly, so they can do guerilla attacks, and can prevent being Frost Arrowed to death by going over trees (unless Grubby risks his Zeppelin for vision). Grubby himself said that he's screwed if the opponent went Gryphons.
If the solo hero turtles then take the entire map. Starve their solo hero of exp, and level yours up to 5 (exp cap when killing neutrals). They can't hit you on multiple directions like you can.
Dota players hate rats, and Alliance won TI with rat Dota, so it's a similar logic.

Just watched this video and was thinking Grubby was playing Night Elf because Naga was once Night Elfs lore wise but he probably was just playing them because there buildings are bascially units lol
The BM and Salt is one of the many great things about WC3. Back in the golden ages of WC3: TFT, the manner games in 1v1, 2v2 RT/AT and even 4s RT was just comedy gold xD. I really hope that this new age of "omg toxicity :(" gamers don't come and ruin all of that.

Returned to this one today and yes, still somewhat most surprising from SOLO series for me - how good Naga+AoW faced knights.
i think if the human player was more consistent at focusing Naga he would have done better, but grubby's kiting, use of zeppelin and fog of war manipulation (i.e attacking behind trees) was far too good for him to keep up with.
