I have a little story about Jean-Marie Eveillard, who is one of the greatest people I have met in my life (and I've met MANY). Years ago, I reached out to him asking to speak at a student investment conference in San Francisco. He did not know me, did not know the school, and he didn't even have anyone to ask about the event because it was a new event. In addition, he was actually traveling to Asia during the time of the conference. So, he flies from Asia to San Francisco, gives a speech to students, and then hops on a plane returning to NYC where he lives. On top of it, he did not let us pay for his flight or hotel, and didn't charge us any fees - just volunteered. Simply amazing person.

I'd be curious to see what Bill Miller says now. His advice on Apple last time made me money!

One risk with gold bullion is that governments tend to seize the stuff when the shit hits the fan. America did it in 1933 with Executive Order 6102. Holding it offshore in Cayman or some British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean could lessen that risk.

Gold profits are also taxed at 28% as "a collectible" by the IRS.

The intro about Wealth Track for women seems feminist and sexist. Investing is gender neutral. Have a Wealth Track for men, then. We can have more fun on it, as in a locker room, and not get any flak for comments like this: "Confucius say girl who invest while walking on hands have crack up."

In this world, all the tears has its value. Happiness is after life. What a sad reality!

Benjamin Graham was a scholar and financial analyst who mentored legendary investors such as Warren Buffett, William J. Ruane, Irving Kahn and Walter J. Schloss.
Benjamin Graham is considered the father of value investing.
Warren Buffett once wrote a lengthy article explaining how Graham's principles are everlasting, and how Graham's record of creating exceptional investors (such as Buffett himself) is unquestionable. The article is called The Superinvestors of Graham-and-Doddsville.
Buffett describes Graham's book - The Intelligent Investor - as "by far the best book about investing ever written" (in its preface, which Buffett wrote). In The Intelligent Investor, Graham recommended various categories of stocks and specified precise qualitative and quantitative rules for each category.
Serenity Stocks shows how one can assess 5000+ NYSE and NASDAQ stocks by a complete 17-point Benjamin Graham assessment, with no adjustments other than those for inflation.
