Any reason why you didnt chose one file to test at different bitrate levels? Like a 65 Mbps vs 40 Mbps vs 15 Mbps? Playing random videos gives mixed results depending on which video you picked and played. You can get more streams out of a lower bitrate but how many streams can you get playing a >65 Mbps remux? Also testing transcoding down to 1080p at 12 Mbps vs 720p at 4 Mbps will also yield different results

I chose to use mixed videos but the mixed videos are the same in every test. So whatever’s being tested can be compared. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@GeekShhh but you only did one test which was how many can you play transcoding to 720p 4Mbps. My point is you maxed at 16 streams with random files but only two of your 4K files were over the average 4k bitrate of 45-55 Mbps (Glory is 57.3 Mbps, Sixth Sense is 17.5 Mbps, Hocus Pocus 2 is 13.9 Mbps, Home Alone is 73 Mbps, Respect is 25.1 Mbps, Avengers Infinity War is 19 Mbps, Terminator Genisys is 17.9 Mbps, Sisu is 25.4 Mbps, Ambulance is 25.3 Mbps, The Nun II is 25.1 Mbps, Focus is 20.8 Mbps, Talk to Me is 21.1 is 21.1 Mbps, The Last Voyage of the Demeter is 25.3 Mbps, Evil Dead Rise is 25.5 Mbps, Aunt-Man and the Wasp: Q is 21.2 Mbps, Indiana Jones and the Dial is 25.3 Mbps). So it seems like youre claiming the 770 is capable of transcoding up to 16 streams but in reality you're using LQ 4K files and transcoding to only 720p resolution. (imaging playing a high end demanding game like CyberPunk and saying "I get over 200FPS" but then we look at your graphic settings and its all set to Low). A Nvidia Quadro P2200 card will preform better since Ive tested it playing same 4K HDR video file with a bitrate of ~43Mbps and transcoded it down to 720p 4 Mbps and on the 17th stream I started seeing buffering issues. I also tested the same file transcoding down to 1080p 12Mbps and was able to transcode 9 streams before seeing buffering issues. Finally I tested a 4K remux 86Mbps to 1080p 12Mbps and was able to play 5 streams. Im curious if you get the same results when you play the same tier of bitrate files.
      imgur.com/a/qHkm80B - 4K DoVi/HDR remux 86Mbps to 1080p 12Mbps (5 streams)
      imgur.com/a/JJsjNIM - 4K HDR10 43 Mbps to 1080p 12 Mbps (9 streams) and 4K HDR10 43 Mbps to 720p 4 Mbps (16 streams)

@@mrbuckwheet In the intro i tell you the various sizes of the files and state that only 2 of my 4K movies are actually REMUX. I also let you know in the description that your results will vary depending on how many REMUX files you use. Im not using all remux movies because they're so huge in file size, thats why i let you know in the beginning. Theres actually a guy on youtube that did the test with all Remux movies and the same cpu. Please refer to his video if thats what your looking for.....Also i wanted to do smaller 4K files bc i feel like thats what most people are downloading instead of the bigger 4k files so the test is more realistic. I chose to do 720p instead of 1080p bc thats what i started out with from my first Plex transcoding video and want to keep them all the same. I also try to make these videos as short as possible lol and all that testing will make the video too long. I see you have very nice and interesting results but unfortunately i can not test the 12900K again bc that was purchased for my god sons build and i no longer have access to it. This means the UHD770 is better than the A380 for transcoding. That irks me because I got an A380. Of course my Poweredge T330 doesn't support CPUs with iGPUs so it's all good I guess 😅
