Get to the root of the issue. Community is breaking down. Ban phones for kids and limited internet access. I'm utterly 100% on this issue. Strong family and community

I completely agree with you. Banning knives is dealing with the symptoms of the main issue. The main issue is what needs dealing with.

The 2 step verification thing isn’t gonna stop young kids from buying such items. What should’ve been done was to take them off online stores all together

Banning the sale of knives online will only prevent online purchases. Children will always have access to some knives because you can't stop them from stealing a kitchen knife from their own homes. Older children can work at restaurants.

I am all for funding for youth places but some of the youths that behave properly don't want to be around the thuggish ones. I say this a previous youth that behaved properly and didn't want to be around the thuggish ones myself.

I am a woman in her 50s and could not buy a cutlery set from Amazon unless I had ID!...how did he get a knife on Amazon?

My confusion exactly: I’m 21 and ordered the coils for a vape pen-literal small pieces of metal-and the Amazon worker asked to see my license or passport for age verification.

@ That can be the case for sure, as I’ve not been in, and they’ve then asked for my mum to sign and provide her ID proof. But if that’s the case with the parents, then prosecution needs to be brought against them.

I’m 19 I look younger than my age I get on buses with a child’s ticket and I walked into Iceland and walked out with a knife set in the summer it wasn’t till I got home I realised I hadn’t even been Id or asked to verify my age now it was only for cooking but that’s not the point it’s so easy and scary how I could have gone and done something crazy and I also don’t understand why some places in this county sell zk knife’s and machetes we do not live in the Amazon and have no need for a Weapon like that 💙

Ikr? It is rather telling that most if not all of them didn't seem to comprehend that .I guess they probably get their shopping online but who can blame them if they can afford it. No one with sense wants to be around the general public since the whole covid thing.

Should the sale of knives be banned? No.
They will always be able to get knives, knives and other blades instruments are a part of daily life, they're not guns, they're not going to be hard to get for any age, we need to look at changing the culture in certain areas of the UK, when kids are stabbing kids the problem isn't that they got hold of a knife, it's the attitude that enabled them to use them.
