I personally like to think that Trevor delivered the killing blow at the end of Castlevania 3 as it would spare Alucard the pain of patricide. Obviously he would have in the Symphony of the Night. That’s my opinion at least
Oh and I really do appreciate how you added the fact that it was the Church that originally sent the Seekers to help in the fight against Dracula, just like in the Draculas Curse manual where it says that Sypha was sent by the Chruch. I really do hope at sometime they show a Belmont with a strong faith in God. that was one thing I was disappointed with too. I would have loved to seen a scene where Trevor is looking up at the Cross to show homage to the intro to Castlevania 3.

Well the game version is completely different from the show version who looks like the librarian from SotN. Also, voices by the legendary limitless Bill Nighy.
[Aria of Sorrow spoilers!] If one is to believe that Mina Hakuba from Aria of Sorrow is the reincarnation of Elizabetha or Lisa, which I do, Dracula (as Soma) eventually gets to actually settle down with his significant other. It's a bit of a stretch, and mostly just headcanon, but I think it's nice to think about. (I like to think that Mina is the reincarnation of Lisa, who in turn is the reincarnation of Elizabetha. Or at the very least, Mina is the reincarnation of Lisa. It isn't officially recognized, but it could be interpreted during some of the events of Aria of Sorrow.)
I still can't watch that episode of Castlevania without crying. I feel so bad for Dracula that it just always hurts watching him die, even if he wants to end humanity I honestly can't blame him. Granted I would still fight for my life and my loved ones, I would still feel sympathy for Dracula.

Finally caught up and glad to see how well you crafted this. Really makes me wish even more that Grant had made it into the Netflix series. The hunter whip part too was a great touch. It honestly makes more sense as a training whip and would explain exactly what Soleyu is attacking you with in Belmont's Revenge lol. Gotta say though, watching this made me painfully aware of how poorly I played Curse of Darkness. I didn't even know that the laser sword was an actual weapon you could unlock let alone an Innocent Devil like Abel that Issac has throughout the majority of the game. Really makes me want to replay it and work to unlock everything that I missed
@@mistere873 easy way to do since Issac and Hecotr are more or less what Gabel and Mariam are if you remove them being contracted to Dracula. Not to mention that when you are creating demons in the game. They have a stained glass like appearance. Which fits quite nicely into Bloodstained.
That shouldn't be a problem. We already have 3 games. One main canon title and 2 spin offs. There's also a ton of cross overs, so it's not unreasonable to compare it to Shovel Knight in terms of momentum gained since launch.
Man... I haven't even finished all this story, and I have even seen the part one but.... You literally reminded me about a project I had in an Amino community, in which I tried to compare the lives of Dracula and Darth Vader, and depict how even from vastly differently sagas, they can really have various points in common. I was aware that the Netflix series wasn't completely canon to the already established timeline, but I still tried to told Drac's story with elements of the series combined with the videogame events, like you did. Everything went fine, until I got problems with Hector and Isaac. When I watched the second season, I wasn't sure which path should I take: if to try to make the Isaac from the series fit into the games, or if to continue with the older one. In my opinion, the Isaac from the series REALLY serves to explain Drac's motives, and I thought then than even by taking the secure path (which, of course, was choosing COD's Isaac), he wasn't going to stand against this new interpretation. My project became stucked and unfortunately I lost all my work someday. At first, I didn't gave it too much concern for a work of months, I basically throwed from the window my hope.... But then, I found your videos, and I came to the conclussion that even without the Netflix series Isaac is possible to tell a great story.... *Thanks for recovering indirectly my hope to start all again* PD: Feel proud of literally having created your own timeline.
As someone whose first exposure to Castlevania was the Netflix adaptation, I was really surprised by how different Issac’s character originally was, and how they completely changed his story too, although personally I like the Netflix version of Issac much more. If Netflix Issac were to be put into the perfect timeline, it would’ve had to become a completely different character from the original Issac. Netflix Issac could’ve been renamed (maybe with an African name?) but still have his story as a slave who was abused so much that he grew to hate humanity, and after Dracula rescues him he could’ve been the one most loyal to Dracula. Meanwhile the original Issac and Hector could still follow their story just as this timeline depicts it. A timeline with both the original Issac and the Netflix Issac as two different characters would be cool to attempt.
This was a awesome series because The Bishop had no powers but he mentally deceived people to believe he could save any and everyone from any situation but he just caused death and destruction and gave a bad name to the Church - wow.
I'm going to be honest I was wary when you said that you were going to include the Netflix series as while the first season is very good, the second season deviated from the canon for the worse IMO (for example Sypha going from ally of the church to self proclaimed "enemy of God") However your series expertly blends whats good about that series while discarding its flaws with the canon events. You even came up with a simple and easy solution to IGA' s problem with Sonia. Bravo.
@@GamerThumbTV You're welcome and despite the challenge I'd say you have earned the perfect title so far. Yeah S2 wasn't all bad but it was more of a mixed bag and not as good as S1 IMO.

It feels like long ago when I picked up my first Castlevania game(Curse of Darkness) after my dad stopped playing video games. I’ve memorized the opening cinematic by heart at this point from my many play throughs of the game. I enjoy Castlevania as a whole but Curse of Darkness has a special place in my heart along with Aria of sorrow. I was only 7-8 when I played them for the first time but I have to admit it was was best experience up to that point. All your long form timeline videos are my crack. I appreciate how long these take to make but I'd be lying if I didn't want an infinite amount of them.
Seeing animated Trevor’s initial whip as the Hunter Whip actually fixes one of my very few nitpicks with the Netflix series; I had always wondered why the Vampire Killer wasn’t the final form of the whip. It _was_ though, it was the Morningstar form.
Yep, and it also "fixes" why non Belmonts like in Circle of the Moon were able to take down Dracula with it too, which is where I'm headed with the story. I wonder if that's how the series will be handling it.

The last scene with the bishop is by far one of the best scenes in all of media I have even seen. Tension was so think I almost grabbed a knife. Beautifully directed, and the color pallet visually tell us that all hell has broken loose but also serves as a window into the Bishop’s soul and how Godless of a man he is and is just as much a demon as those who are actually demons, and just screams “damnation”Not to mention that dialogue! My God! That scene alone deserves awards.
One of my fave parts of the Anime was how the three heroes entering IMMEDIATLY stops the Vampiric Civil war. Always great how the power of.. "Oh shet thats bad.." can band any one together.
Lisa death scene always get me, she has every right at the moment to curse or get angry at everyone for burning her alive but instead she is just begging Dracula not to hurt them and dont become the monster they believe him to be. Worst thing is they were people like her, who just wanted to help but since the church was rotten as hell back then many suffered the same fate

My favorite moments from this chapter are, the trio's assault on Dracula's generals, and when Dracula realizes what a monster he has become and let's his own son end his life on behalf of his mother 👍
Man, this is an amazing series, both the games and your videos about them makes it easy for someone who hasn't played the original series to appreciate them. Why can't there be more Vamp games like this and Legacy of Kain(I heard Masquerade was good but I haven't played them)? It's such a waste that something with such huge potential is either not made or made badly, there's so much that could be done with Vampires. Here's hoping that one day they either finally finish The Legacy of Kain or give them a remake(I'd prefer it to be LoK Blood Omen 1 that gets remade). What I love about this series is the the Vampire mythos, Dracula is truly powerful enough to bear that that name honors its meaning. I also like that he's not a feminine looking male model, he looks like a beast contained in the shape of a man depending on what he chooses to appear as.
You weaved the timelines so well. Though I was under the impression Alucard was Trevor's father which is why besides feelin responsible for his father felt responsible for the Belmonts.
To get more detailed, him being the father isn't actually mentioned in the game. It's a fan assumption based on Alucard's interaction with Sonia and the father could easily just been some guy from her village. It seemed that Alucard had feelings for Sonia but they could've just as easily just been friends. No romantic relationship is really ever confirmed. And actually, the game never even confirms the baby's identity either. In either case, Konami wiped the game from Castlevania history. It creates major timeline problems as it is.
Rewatching this after completing the final two seasons of the Netflix series. Man do I wish they'd taken you on board for those last two seasons. I felt so much more satisfied with this ending than the Netflix series.
With the exception of Dracula/Lisa resurrection, I feel like with some fan fiction, you can re-attach the Netflix series with curse of Darkness Having Isaac ending a tragic figure corrupted by Dracula curse and Hector coming to help his old friend. Heck, it could be made into a season 5 easily as season 4 end with Sylpha pregnant.
most favorite is when ya transition between the NetFlix Castlevania scenes and the 8 bit version of the games. best parts of this video of the whole Timeline.
26:09 This part is why I despise the bishop. He’s nothing but a corrupt individual and he reminds me of Judge Frollo of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Although Matt Frewer who voiced him in the show did a really good job.
Curse of Darkness is of my favourite games for the ps2. So much drip and fun. Sure not typically castlevania but gotta freshen up a gaming series. Amazing content as always.

In the Netflix lore they seem to imply that but it hasn't been explained yet fully. In the Curse of Darkness prequel manga it's presented how I showed in this video.
NES Cyclops: Hammertime Anime Cyclops: *Laser Eye* NES Alucard: has some moves based on his dad Anime Alucard: *HE HAS A SWORD* NES Dracula: has 3 forms and use any attacks Anime Dracula: *only one but puts up more of a fight*
GamerThumbTV it could still work with a few alterations. Like a future Belmont inadvertently travels to that part of the timeline manages to save Lisa before the church could find her. The other events still happen but Alucard and Dracula have no idea that she is still alive until later when Dracula declares war on humanity starting with his wife’s home city. This would also prompt the future Belmont to confront the church and in doing so the people would turn on the Bishop and have him face punishment. The invasion would still happen but eventually Alucard would find out that his mother is still alive and they would try to stop Dracula. Dracula wouldn’t be as harsh in comparison to this but would still wage war on humanity.
I loved the original Castlevania timeline videos and like these new videos. I loved the Castlevania 3 segment which splices in footage from the Japanese version of Castlevania 3.

I personally like to think that Trevor delivered the killing blow at the end of Castlevania 3 as it would spare Alucard the pain of patricide. Obviously he would have in the Symphony of the Night. That’s my opinion at least
"Your greatest gift to me... and i'm killing him."

What about the line "putting some furniture" (from Harmony of Dissonance)
The colors they used for the cyclopes eye laser, so cool looking.
When Alucard began crying, I was like "bruh, I am already way ahead of you."

By crying he let his anger go so it wouldn't consume him. I'm glad he won't share his father's fate
[Aria of Sorrow spoilers!]
If one is to believe that Mina Hakuba from Aria of Sorrow is the reincarnation of Elizabetha or Lisa, which I do, Dracula (as Soma) eventually gets to actually settle down with his significant other.

*Thanks for recovering indirectly my hope to start all again*
PD: Feel proud of literally having created your own timeline.
This is why we don’t want corrupt people in our church.
Bravo.
Thanks for checking it out, quite the challenge :) The series actually added some great elements to the overall lore.
@@GamerThumbTV
You're welcome and despite the challenge I'd say you have earned the perfect title so far. Yeah S2 wasn't all bad but it was more of a mixed bag and not as good as S1 IMO.

@@GamerThumbTV you fixed the problem regardless. U and whomever else. As a fan it's all canon (except lords of shadow) this just helps a whole lot.
Rewatching this after completing the final two seasons of the Netflix series. Man do I wish they'd taken you on board for those last two seasons. I felt so much more satisfied with this ending than the Netflix series.
Hey I would've taken the job lol.
With the exception of Dracula/Lisa resurrection, I feel like with some fan fiction, you can re-attach the Netflix series with curse of Darkness
Having Isaac ending a tragic figure corrupted by Dracula curse and Hector coming to help his old friend. Heck, it could be made into a season 5 easily as season 4 end with Sylpha pregnant.

Why do i want an alternative timeline where lisa wasnt killed and the family had a good time as a family
idk, then there wouldn't be any Castlevania lol
GamerThumbTV I kinda really want to know what Dracula was like around his family.
