for same result (maybe even better) you can use regular hair spray when your hair is still wet (damp), not too much spray, otherwise the hair becomes sticky. be sure to spread the spray (with your hand) everywhere you want (especially at the roots), then dry your hair as you usually do. this will give you volume (you will love it). try it and let me know.

The models I have seen have layered hair. It's lighter on top so the hair will have more volume. Thick hair with all one length is too heavy.
