I bought the same spoiler for my GLA45 and have the same issues with gaps in the fitment. Rather than try solving it, I decided to just spend the money on the Brabus spoiler instead.

I had to litterally put all my weight onto the spoiler till I felt the clip. It was only a slight clip aswell, I was still going at it before I noticed it had clicked.

Did you use self tappers? And no gasket? It’ll rust off in a year and look dog shit.

The spoiler, the self tappers are tapping into, is made from plastic. so not sure what you mean, how i's it going to rust?
