Lucía Rey is a multi-faceted artist, pianist and composer, who graduated from the Madrid Conservatory and specialised in modern music, Latin piano and jazz in Cuba. Later, in New York, she studied with teachers such as Bruce Barth, Barry Harris and Bob Quaranta, as well as working as a pianist on different projects on the New York scene.
In her album Reflexión (Self-released, 2017), Lucía Rey’s creations stand out for their rhythm, subtlety, passion and magic, together with a mestizo sensibility that encompasses styles and sources of inspiration from a wide range of backgrounds, from classical music to the most innovative pop. In a very short time, this project has become a fixture on the most important circuits, festivals and venues in Spain and is now achieving international recognition as it spreads to America.

La presentació en Spanglish és meravellosa! La pianista ho fa de conya, però no jugueu a que no som espanyols perque la realitat és que som mes espanyols que els madrilenys. I mes provincians també!!
