Hey everyone, welcome to my channel. I've been playing Old School Runescape for years and I'm looking for a new challenge...so I'm making an Ironman!
The goal is to do all kinds of skilling, PVM, bossing and collection log completionist content to experience more of the game and build the best maxed ironman that I can.
This ironman series is to document my journey and hopefully have some awesome moments to look back on in the future to see how much progress I've made.

nice to see somone making a from scratch ironman series which includes all the tedious stuff as well :D early game ironman is one of the most fun and captivating gameplay experiences in runescape for sure! + 1 new sub
For a game with as big a grind as OSRS there's always some tedious stuff, but that just makes completing it that much sweeter! I must say though, going through it all for the first time as an Iron and having all of you to share it with makes it 10x more enjoyable. You're right that the early game experience is great fun, been so long since I did it. Really nice change of pace from the late game grinds. early game is basically walking simulator and super tedious at least for uim, but the levels come quick thats the only reason i like it lol
Very true, it's basically a walking marathon across the map until you get some quests done and mage levels up. 'm sure it takes much longer to get out of that phase on a UIM as well, I can't even imagine the grind haha. At least there's the fast levels like you said to keep the dopamine up!
100% my Ironman I did the standard 99 fm first but then went to GOTR till 81 RC and the runes helped a TON. So much supplies.

Haha yea the time gating can be infuriating when you just want to focus on the one skill and knock it out. Thanks for sharing Charles.

It is painfully slow that's for sure. I'll be sure to stay on high alert around anyone who tells me they enjoy it!
my least favorite skill is construction, mostly because of the training method. It feels like it could have been so much more affordable and still been believable!
It's like they were replicating some of the housing markets IRL with the crazy cost 🤣 Salt in the wound is the actual process of making and removing furniture is just a painful method too! Can totally understand it being your least favourite.
Great video again mate! todayd the first chance ive had to play and catchup on some osrs vids in a while been so busy irl! My least fav skill is deffo runecrafting, cant stand it! Anyway, best of luck on future gains bro, p.s didnt know about the barbarian herb method, ill keep that one in mind

Yea the barb herb stuff isn't used much but as an Iron it's useful early to be able to squeeze every last drop of herb xp where you can. I'll end up showing it in a video eventually when I get around to actually training it.

Appreciate the feedback, nice to hear from a more experienced ironman that I'm not spouting complete gibberish. I've played Runescape a long time but I'm still new to ironman myself. Really just picking it up as I go so I'm sure I'll miss things but doing my best to learn what's going on so I can talk about it in the videos and hopefully help out other new players along the way. I’d have to say thieving (at least early to mid-game) is my least favorite skill. All of the methods feel so click intensive without any variety!
Yup, I totally get that. To be honest even later in the game it's kind of annoying, at least it's a reasonably fast skill but all methods are non stop clicking. If you try to do something outside of the game then you're losing xp soon as you stop clicking!
Try one click summer garden, changed the game for me
That's actually a good suggestion, I always forget about it. I've done it in Leagues a couple of times and it's pretty chill. Should give it a go in the main game.

2:44 I started a ironman a week ago, I did 2 wt kc and got the pet at 52 firemaking lmao.
My main also has a 1 kc scorpia pet I got during wildy diary tasks. I obviously have never killed scorpia after that. My luck on average though is still trash xD
Also for the wildy altar, grab a cheap axe, use the log system by making the canoes and go towards the wildy lake, its much faster then walking there from the enclave
Months late, but you got your rune scimmy whilst killing the gang members, I did think you completely glossed over the fact you got it haha
Never too late for helpful observation! Pretty sure they're the only content I had ever done which drops them, so that's likely it. Good pickup :) I probably did gloss over it because my brain isn't trained as an ironman so a rune scimmy was 'meh' at the time haha, too used to seeing them drop from rune drags.

Totally fair, the non stop clicking gets old real fast!
2nd PC or a virtual machine and connect a foot pedal to it. Worst skill turns into a skill you can do whilst doing something more worthwhile.
I've heard about that trick before but just too to set something up. Might have to give it a try some time though, curious to see what it's like myself.
@@juicybeetosrs I have one with three pedals. I use my second inventory space to line it up with arceeus spell.
One button clicks
One opens and closes inv to click coin pouch
One open and closes magic menu for arceeus spell!
Let me know if you ever try it out, works great if you have the second machine/bmw

Glad to hear that we're on the same page with the early progression but don't worry if you did things differently to what I've done, at the end of the day there's no real 'right' way (unless you're speed running!) It's such a long grind that by the time you get to endgame most of this probably won't matter anymore!

Juicy secretly using the ironman plugin that gives a fake helm and buying a rune scim!
Haha that would be quite something, wouldn't it? I still can't believe I didn't realise how good the rune scimitar drop was when I got it 🤣
I learned from somewhere that I can do the barbarian harpoon fishing in tempoross, so since I'm doing a little bit extra tempoross just for fun (and banking 70+ cooking) I'm also getting extra 5k+ str xp an hour using the bare-hand method instead of a harpoon.
My least favorite skill is herblore on ironman I reckon, first growing the herb stacks slowly from slayer and farming and then I gotta go do some annoying 2ndary collecting on top of that. Not my fav content :P
I actually only learnt about bare handed tempoross recently myself, it's certainly a useful tip and something definitely worth doing. Unfortunately, I didn't know about it on my original tempoross grind but I'm sure I'll be back. So long as you're having fun you might as well keep going with it, really useful activity on an iron.
I knew we'd get a few mentions of herblore! It certainly embodies the idea of an Ironman - having to get each resource yourself bit by bit in different ways....but perhaps it's a little too accurate in how painful it is haha. I'm sure I'll be right there with you cursing it once I'm deeper into the account and doing it more.

In case you haven’t noticed, west ardy has quite the rat infestation. The civilians are so eager to take in cats to combat this.
So rest assured your kitties will be happy, mingling with many other kitties and with a ton of rats for them to chase and eat until their heart’s content. All while providing a valuable service for the humans that reside in west ardy.
To be honest I'm not sure if it started as a joke that then got blurry over time and people started to believe it. I must admit myself I've never thought too much about it and was thinking along the lines of the impoverished citizens eating them 😅

What do you use so you don’t have to right click the bones at the altar?
I believe it's part of the 'Menu Entry Swappper' plugin settings on Runelite. I've had it like that for a long time so don't remember for certain, sorry.

woodcutting, fishing and mining, not profitable and fucking slow, at least rc makes bank.
Yea fair enough, they certainly drag on for a while, I'd say mining is the worst of the lot because fishing/wcing can at least be reasonably afk. 100% rc may be slow but at least you get something else out of it with a nice cash stack!
