Gru tries to shoot her as she's running away with his Freeze Ray, but he already shot the gun empty due to a time skip, and Rose dodges all the shots with her abilities as she explain to herself to overcome the calamity. Rose damages an invisible light source tied to Hagrid's soul, causing him to collapse. She figured it out seeing Hagrid's shadow being relative to whoever is viewing it. The group tries to stop her, but she predicts their moves. It all seems over as Rose manages to grabs the stone, but Sisu realizes that Rose only partially destroyed the light source to prevent everyone from returning to their original bodies. Sisu then completely destroys it, and everyone returns to their original bodies. Shrek, now closer to the stone, absorbs its powers. Rose, desperate, tries to defeat Shrek by erasing time and viewing the future and sees her successfully defeating Shrek in the next 10 seconds. She goes to strike Shrek, but notices he suddenly becomes aware of her in the erased time. She freaks out more as everything starts reverting back to how they were before she started erasing time. Shrek explains to her that this is the Requiem stone's doing, and what she was witnessing was the truth that was destined to happen, but now she will never get there.
