My Great Grandfather Chief James Holy Eagle of Pine Ridge SD was forced to leave his family at a very young age and go to Carlise on a train. He lived to talk about it and passed away at 104 years of age. His son Gus my grandfather came to Pennsylvania after joining the army and met my grandmother. Thus my mother from Central Pennsylvania and My Pennsylvania Roots.
