Life is good when there's an animated, dark background style video explaining the math/physics concept I'm learning.

HOLY *WOW*, THIS VIDEO IS INCREDIBLE!! I'm a mathematician not a physicist, and seeing an explanation that was this precise (love any excuse to use weird n-ary operators lol) yet this accessible was AMAZING! I found it hard to believe this is only your second video -- definitely subscribed and waiting for your third!!

This is the second night I’ve watched your video. Tonight I wrote it down after watching it. This is the best introduction to entanglement I’ve ever seen. Subscribed! Thanks. Keep making great videos like this.

a mathematician would probably use factorization to achieve symmetry, e.g. H²/span{|x¹²⟩ - |x²¹⟩} so basically "everything breaking symmetry" is treated as zero (you can achieve antisymmetry in the same way trading the minus sign for a plus sign)

This is indeed how the exterior algebra and the symmetric algebra are usually defined, as a quotient

    Poor Vladimir Fock.
In my quantum grad classes teacher emphasized "FOCKED electron photon states" 🤣

Why do we use the tensor product instead of the direct sum of Hilbert spaces?
In classical mechanics we have 3D euclidean space for the position of a particle, 2 particles will be 6D which is the direct sum for individual particles. The dimension doubles.
If we take the tensor product, for 2 particles the dimension would be squared.

With your entanglement |up up>+|down down >, what if you don't quite collapse the component but put at your side a magnetic field so spin swaps? Breaking of entanglement or what's the eigenvalues like?
Correlation is better, and this wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff is sooo good.. 🥺😬😔 I'm a freak ok ok but you too 🤫
Nice animations and great explanation, hope you're going quantum Fock photon states, important stuff in that context

I have ever since been disappointed by the construction of the Fock space because there is no, ABSOLUTELY NO, physics involved. This is pure math. Everything you get out of this is what you put in, not more. Of course there is entanglement ... you put it in by tensor products. So what?
