This is a brutal masterpiece, but: Can we please talk about how GODDAMN SICK THIS GUITAR SOLO IS?!?!?? These melodies are doing something with me every single time I‘m listening to that song.
Both of you (Vulvodynia and Mental Cruelty) are my two biggest candidates for album of the year so far, and neither of your albums have fully dropped yet 😂). Y’all are amazing
My wife, 6 year old son and I were listening to this in the car completely amazed. When the highs kicked in my son said "he sounds like if Donald Duck was a demon"....fairly accurate!
God fucking damn 😫😫😫😫 Lucca's vocals have gotten massive. This is honestly the best shit you've put out so far.. even better than the early beatdown/brutal deathcore stuff that I god damn adore. Massive for sure. Feels like 2019 all over again. Brand of sacrifice, to the grave, mental cruelty, and distant. It's a good year for deathcore. I love the lean into the symphonic and black metal. The more influence, the better. Shit I want to be able to call it blackcore instead of blackened deathcore! I expect this album to be massive.
@@rne203 Immortal was far and away the best offering of the bunch (saying a lot). Really stupid of Lorna Shore to kick CJ out, though. I get the feeling they're going to regret it.

FIANLLY this is the first blackened deathcore band where I can hear true elements of blackened death metal and even som gorgoroth in there. This is the only blackened deathcore band that’s pulled off the blackened thing and I can hear the influences of black metal. I’m a fan.
@@RibeiroGames12 Lorna shore I don’t hear anything black at all. Worm Shepard’s got the tremolo picking and aesthetics but it still doesn’t have many black metal elements. I’m probably not a great person to talk about it because I listen to black metal daily I guess lol. They’re not bad bands, I do like deathcore, this is the only band that I hear black metal influences if you’re asking me but, that’s just my opinion.
For me lorna shore still better, they have the effectiveness of music arrangements, and always create on point melody , this song has so much useless melody, doesn't mean this song is not good, this song is good but get boring pretty easily
This is awesome. Acoustic to kick off following atmospheric black metal riff. Then mix of melodic and symphonic death metal and breakdowns to still adhere to deathcore. Great vocals, great instruments(drums, guitar) and lyrics. I felt I listened to Shadow of Intent the first couple of times but that's on positive note and felt a little bit of Lorna shorey too. Solo was long and very good. Good that band is expanding their horizons over the years.
