Common Topics in CFA and FRM 2023

Hello, I’ve just cleared L1 CFA for May 2023 and I’m planning to sit for FRM P1 in November 2023. I was initially planning to sit for CFA L2 in November but since I’m short on time I’ve decided to leave that till May 2024. I have thought about studying for the FRM in the meantime so I don’t lose momentum to CFA L2 and also to bridge the gap on some topics from CFA L2, but I’m not sure if that is a an advisable strategy. You have mentioned that there is quite an overlap between Part 1 and Level 1 so I won’t be risking burnout ahead of L2 preparation but is there good overlap between part 1 and level 2’s difficult topics? Keeping in mind that I would have 6 months for L2 after FRM. Also for L2, certain topics in equity valuation and corporate finance won’t be an issue for me since I already work in Corporate Finance and Valuations (financial advisory). If you could give me an approximate % of overlap between L2 and P1 I would appreciate it

Yes...pursuing FRM and CFA together is great choice for all prospects ..
