Good review. That would have been an interesting finals, one which I thought we would get see in 1994 when Jordan "retired". Being a Spurs fan, (though I also like Sir Charles) in the 2nd round, Barkley destroyed a solid defensive Spurs team with a great center (David Robinson) in the playoffs. I believe Phoenix would have defeated New York in 7 games. Kevin Johnson would have done alot of damage vs Anthony and Rivers. Of course Ewing would have done the same against Mark West and Tom Chambers.

The only matchup we missed in the 90's was the Bulls and Rockets in a final, because only the Bulls and Rockets beat the Suns and Knicks repeatedly and also beat the Orlando Magic of 1995 and 1996, the Apex of Shaq & Penny The Bulls defeated NY in 92 , 93 Rockets defeated them in 94 The Bulls defeated Phoenix in 93 The Rockets defeated them in 94, 95 The Rockets were beat by Seattle in 96, the Bulls beat the Knicks and Sonics in 96 The Bulls beat the Heat and Jazz in 97 whom beat the Knicks and Rockets In 98 the Bulls beat the Pacers and Jazz whom beat the Rockets and Knicks The Bulls defeated Cle in 88, 89, 92, 93, 94 Defeated NY in 89, 91, 92, 93, 96 Defeated Milwaukee in 90 Defeated Philly and Barkley in 90, and 91 Defeated Detroit in 91 In 92 and 96 and 97 defeated Mia In 92 Portland In 93 Dominique and ATL and ATL of Dikembe in 97 In 93 Barkley and the Suns In 95 and 98 the Hornets In 96 the Orlando Magic The Sonics in 96 In 97 the Bullets of Washington The Utah Jazz of 97 and 98 The Nets in 98 And the Pacers in 98. Even if the Bulls finish 6-3, 7-2, 8-1 or 9-0 I would have rather seen Jordan compete against those two teams at Apex level then give New York two EC titles and the Magic an EC 👑...

Had the Knicks made the 1993 NBA Finals, they probably would have won in 6 or 7 games over the Suns. :D
