What an amazing song!! She carried so many different levels! It kills me to hear this depression stuff. So much pain for this family.

Her book was one of the best memoirs I’ve ever read. And Naomi and Wy both wrote their memoirs that revealed a lot more than Ashley’s. I just feel bad that Naomi is missing so much of her daughters’ lives. 😢

She was devastated. It’s heartbreaking. 🤍
    And I so understand.

For momma to state she flet so demolished. I think all the biographies her girls wrote pushed momma over the edge. This mother did the best she could and got them to where they got. I kind of feel Ashley's story just really turned eyes wide open. Somethings should be private and there was no need to write a book. They could of worked it all out with a psychiatrist. My heart goes out to these girls now left without there mother. I honestly believe thegirls autobiographies was the straw that broke the camels back . These kids knew there mother suffered with depression as well and never should of shared all that laundry both of them wrote books, Ms. Judd came from a era that didn't talk. I pray Ms. Judd is at peace . Amen 💜

Agreed. Naomi did an interview very upset with Oprah Winfrey network saying they were approached about the series WY and N did in 2011 and were tricked, saying it would be fun to them and then airing all the things they did, after that tour naomi didn't get out of bed for 3 weeks, and it was the end of the tour when she read Ashley's book. She was bi polar and being an ex mental health case manager I can tell you the lithium medication is a doubled edged sword. It is bad bad stuff and I imagine naomi was desperate to be put and agree on lithium because it destroys the liver and u have to have liver labs done every 6 months. The anguish this woman lived with then, her mental illness took a bad turn after the 2011 tour and Ashley's book. All the tragedy in the 3 women's lives is awful. In a way there's a lot of similarity in me, my mother and sister, and I identify with many of the family issues here. It's hard enough being a commoner but, then to air all the dirty laundry. But just FYI, part of the docu series there was a dinner early on where WY called naomi out on, basically her mom airing anything and everything for a buck. Whew a lot of bad stuff, but that crazy family had and has a lot of love and generational trauma.

@@elizabethbates4717 I know right? Such a tragedy. I don't know what pushes a brain to take ones life but it surely scares me to even think about. I also think mother's and daughters always butt heads. As you said here that you and your mom and sister have some issues so don't I with my mom. I honestly believe if we are born into a unhealthy relationship meaning our parents are having problems it definitely homs the well being of children growing in such environment. I could always see while we had been jealous of her mother receiving anything more than her attention be it from fans or when they're having interviews. If you watch the old videos when they first started they had a unity and as there fame grew it seemed as though Wyoming wanted to distance herself from her mother but , that's to be normal with any child , who wants there parents around 24 seven and I'm their situation mom and wyomi did everything together. That had to be had when your young and want to begin dating . But she did break away for years toured without her mom. There were some nasty things said by Wyoming to like telling the world that her mother had a sexual appetite , you just got to keep somethings away from the public when in the public eye and to be frank I found that so hurtful telling the world she had to deal with her mother's sexual appetite. It was really nice hearing from you. I hope all is well and that you are doing well. Sincerest Kelly

Naomi put everything aside for fame.. she was the one that wanted to be famous.. she put her kids through hell because of her selfishness.. so you're telling me the kids can't express their feelings because they don't want to hurt their mother feelings.. please tell that to somebody else.. what Naomi did was a selfish thing.. knowing that her daughter Ashley was going to find her and leaving a note like that to her daughter Wynonna calling her crazy I'm sorry mentally ill... when she was the one putting a bullet through her head...I have no sympathy for her.. and then look at what she did with her will..like really..

I use to have so much anger about things from the past that my own person kept bringing up to remind me how awful my life was...my own self kept bringing that poison to me everyday...then I just would get angry again and lived in physical, mental, emotional pain from entertaining the me that kept bringing it up... then I went deep within me and asked myself what it needed and my deep inner true self told me that I needed to save myself from my self....that negative voice that wanted to take me down....my ego self almost had me convinced....but my god self saved me from the man made ego liar.....to thine own self be true...we are powerful spirit beings that carry the source with us...we are attached to the umbilical cord of wisdom. We are all good children and God wants nothing but for us to shine and be happy...don't listen to the ego man liar...be at peace🙏🙏🙏Still here lifting others til they remember who they are again and soar with the eagles... blessings all...thank you for your videos....

Trust IN the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. ~ Poverbs 3:5-7 (emphasis mine)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? "I the Lord search the heart and test the mind,..." ~ Jeremiah 17: 9-10a

This was when she started talking about having depression and being sexually abused as 3 years old. It is a pity she couldn't forgive herself.

Boy, it's hard to write about this with Naomi Judd gone. I remember watching the Docu Series & Idid feel for Naomi that, I felt it was TOO MUCH to deal with as her last tour w/ Wynonna, as a once in a life time reunion,
as The Judd's. BUT...I also agree with Wynonna, that she also wanted her sister to have her voice. I get why Naomi & Wynonna were uncomfortable being asked about her & her book & not just focusing on them. Having said that, I did struggle at times that Ashley did share in the book & of course she'd be asked about her story. It's still considered a memoir. And I didn't understand why she was SO almost angry when she was asked questions afterwards. I did buy it & read it!!! I thought that Ashley's story was just as important as those who she has reached out to globally. It definitely impacted me. I found it hard, realizing how much Ashley was left alone, when Naomi & Wynonna started to become really famous.
I don't think it was wrong for her to be honest with what she lived thru!!!!! Our stories are what connect us with eachother.

I am a Judds fan and I love all three and I can’t even imagine how having that private information out there. But I also think when you write a book to sell to the public you should be prepared to answer any questions about what you chose to include in the book.

Naomi had her own demons to deal with, but she also had the demons and mental/ psychological illnesses she inherited via her genes/ dna. That is a lot to have to deal with.

I watched that entire docu-series and I think Oprah might be part of why Naomi took her own life. This was the last thing she needed was to spill the beans as she would say, The stress of this was TOO MUCH for her. I hate watching this. Sure tried keeping the family secrets at bay, they pushed her so hard. So she went on tour herself talking about the family dynamics and her relatives. This was the icing on the cake to me. It's just sad.

It's not really Oprah's fault. She made the offer and Naomi chose to do it.

Typical media! All they want to do is focus on the negative aspects of life Ashley tells it great when she says that’s maybe 40 pages of the book! The book is, as I recall about 400 pages.
Hey media, pull your heads out and talk about the positive. The positive in the book, the positive in their lives, the positive things going on in the world!

I wished Naomi could of forgiven herself as a mother, I believe her daughters have forgiven her but it seem like she couldn't. A mother's guilt weighs heavily.

“Damaged goods”. That phrase reflects on him, not you. Does he hold a soldier’s battles against them? Does he hold a physically wounded person’s injuries against them? If so, what a shallow, heartless robot he is.
