Nice video, reminding viewers to NEVER walk away from a loose drain plug! Its either out or tightened completely. The first oil should be dumped sooner. A better filter like the purolator one filters to 20 micron. The toyota is about capacity 40 micron.
No ramps for me- Rather use a 3 ton jack and 4 ton jack stands. For an oil change, I’ll place the jack on the passenger side alongside the jack stand for extra security.
I belive this is a brand new car. You want to change the oil much earlier. Due to metal shaving and what not in the engine. Not about oil breaking down. th-cam.com/video/_6nWCQ_70J0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sSHH3HPSO5IAyUtl
Great Video 👍🏼 Finally someone is creating simple and to-the-point instructional videos! Thank you!
Simple. To the point. No nonsense. Wish all tutorials were like this.

Hello Dave, was it difficult to remove the oil filter for the first time? Did the factory put it on super tight?

Why did you dip the new oil filter in contaminated oil?
It helps with the seal. It won't harm it but I personally use the new clean oil.
There’s still some of the old oil left in the drain pan anyway. You can never fully drain the old oil. It’s fine.
99 for an oil change?😂😂😂...BS!
What is the oil capacity ? I hear 4.5 quarts then 4.8 quarts
Don’t ask people on TH-cam, check your owners manual.
I literally opened the owner manual and showed you all the tiny details
4.8 may be for the regular gas non-hybrid models.
That oil is fine and golden. Synthetic oil does not breakdown until 7500-15k miles. Waste of money
I love wasting money. I am super rich

That is not true. I have tested synthetic oil at blackstone labs at 7,500 miles and it was past the life cycle
This guy was nice enough to show a vid on an oil change and instead of thanking him you’re debating technicals.
You've been lied to. There's many TH-cam channels that test synthetic oil and it doesn't last that long. 4K to 5K is the ideal change
