Thank you so much for this review! I purchased this powder to try and I had no idea how to place the powder refill in securely without spilling it all! Thank you so much! Such a great honest and thorough review I had to subscribe to your channel.🙂👍

Bought this today & spilt a quarter before figuring out how to screw in the powder. Before Pommist misting it did look a little powdery. So I think Pommist is essential! The shade I chose worked perfectly. Beautiful product

Came here because I can’t figure out how to screw in the powder. It seems clicked or screwed in, but no powder coming off of brush. How do I get it started? 😭

The difference you need to learn is the shot glass full of sunscreen is for a chemical sunscreen which needs to be reapplied, this powder does not. It is a mineral block- considered as a physical force of sunblock

What do you mean? I think all of this powder is physical I understand there are no chemical ingredients?

@@animallover17l56 Correct. The titanium dioxide and clays that make up mineral based sunblocks are sunblocks that work on the surface of your skin. They primarily reflect the UV rays with some absorption and reradiation. Sunscreens are organic chemicals that penetrate the outer skin and absorb the UV light and reradiate it at longer, safer wavelengths. Because of the organic molecules used, there is a greater likelihood of skin irritation from sunscreens as compared to sunblocks. In fact, the zinc oxide mineral has antibacterial properties and promotes the healing of skin. Hope this answers your question a little? I'm no dermatologist, but I am a fair skinned, freckled physicist, so lifelong sun awareness and some quick cosmetic ingredients of sun protection formulations info found on the web helped me put this summary together. Questions welcome! I have a few too.
