It's definitely not been forgotten
STW is actually a legitimately enjoyable mode. It is a perfect loop of progression, combat, with the added toppings of great music, stunning scenery, constant development (this has slowed down the last year RIP), and a decent, humorous story with a thoughtful development team. I know that it has slowed down of recent years, however if you look at the game and realize the depth and thought that has been put in to it I think you'll appreciate it.

I remember watching this trailer with my brothers when it was shown. And we were pretty interested. It had been a while since we'd played any local multiplayer games, and this seemed like it would be a lot of fun, like a cartoony CoD Zombies meets L4D.

The animation and the voice acting is fantastic. Even how they started building up the story at the start of this game is just genius. Brought so much life to the characters too. Fortnite needs to do more of these again

Honestly it's one of the things I like about Save The World. It's a way more cartoonish story than say BR, but in a very good way. The characters and their personalities are just great!

What's crazy to me is the fact that they released this in July 2017, and then saw how popular Battle Royales were becoming at the time, and then pushed out a whole BR mode 2 months later, making it become one of the biggest games in the world

Edit: To stop the questions of how did you buy it on accident let me clarify. I wanted see how much it cost because my friends were playing it. So my dumbass self clicked purchase to see how much It would cost because usually there's verification. My intent wasn't to buy it but see the cost of it. But instead of taking me to a verification screen it bought it straight away.

I bought the game in 2018 and got myself midway through plankerton. Picked it back up again at the start of 2020 and I’ve played nonstop on it ever since. I’ve played just about every venture season. I’m Power Level 138, max currently is 139. It’s addicting and there’s a variety of ways to level yourself up which is fun. The dialogue of the storyline is clever and funny. I have founder pack too so i still earn vbucks off it.

5% seems small, but there were ~27,000 active players in STW just today. just goes to show how massive this franchise is now

Very cool cinematic! Really fits the art style and shows that this is a team effort kind of game. Already bought the biggest edition so every new footage right not helps feed my hype till release. Also diggin these fouyr characters as the poster group for the game :)
