I heard the 2nd movement of this Sonata on the radio while for the train to go past the level crossing,I could have stayed in that moment forever,absolute peice and serenity.

I couldn't agree more. That movement is, IMO, the most beautiful single movement of Haydn's.

I get the impression that Haydn's piano sonatas are not as frequently performed as his quartets and symphonies. They are well worth hearing, however.
